if your closest msy isnt too far away most people would simply go and pick it up that day like i did few weeks back.

To be considered a "bargain" a price would need to be significantly cheaper than the prevailing price in the market. This isn't.

The convenience factor for purchase and possibly warranty issues mean in most cases it is far better to purchase from a local physical store.

Have you noticed that it is now cheaper to buy these drives locally than from Amazon?

Would this fit in a laptop? I have an Asus ultrabook and would like to replace the HDD with a SSD mainly to reduce fan noise.

Yes but it depends on if you use sata or Msata

      • msata hdd?

      • +2

He'd be replacing the HDD so it would be SATA.
        The SSD will fit fine.

I don't think it'll reduce the fan noise though since this is mostly linked to the CPU temps. It'll reduce drive noise instead.

        • as well as improving the battery's life and most important of all computer and program load times.
