      Thanks OP. Great little speaker no doubt. Got one when TGG had it discounted recently (thanks OzBargain)and later regretted not getting two at the price. This thing pumps out quality volume and is very robust.

      Very impressed - I definitely need to pair up another - through the APP! Quality sound performance anywhere, and great bluetooth/battery recharge performance. I use it for low level background music streaming via Xiialive/MyCloudPlayer and linked to my spare MotoG and other devices.

      $129 free delivery? No brainer for me.

    Speakers seem to be only 1.5w each which is a little disappointing considering the price

    Recently purchased the Sony SRSBTM8B http://www.sony.com.au/product/srs-btm8 for $75 and am very happy. 2x 2w speakers and 20hr battery life. The big plus for me was it takes AA's which means when they run out of juice, just whip out some spare eneloops and your ready to go again rather than looking for somewhere to charge it. (great for camping). Regarding the UE Boom, ive heard of people only getting 4hrs out of the battery at max volume & 15 hours with very low volume.

    Only thing the Sony doesnt do is being able to pair it up with another speaker (one speaker is loud enough imo), and lack of equalizer, although im sure theres plenty of apps to adjust this from your phone.

    The only thing holding me back from buying this is all the reviews saying that the bass is much weaker than the Bose Soundlink Mini.

    My question is for those who have heard both is, is this the case, or is the difference in bass something only an audiophile who reviews sound equipment would notice?

    Ps I mainly listen to bass heavy music.

      Well, that's easy, since you mainly listen to bass heavy music, just get the Bose Soundlink Mini. Problem solved.

      We faced the same dilemma a few weeks ago but went for the Bose Soundlink Mini. Judging purely on sound, it is the clear winner, especially the better bass (which suits our musical tastes).

      The UE booms rugged design and stereo link option (you could almost buy two for the price of one Bose Mini Sound link) were very attractive, but in the end we picked the Bose for its better sound and smexy looks.
