There are not enough games that make a second controller necessary. Also the edges on the thumbsticks seem to wear out very fast. I will wait until they have better quality control on that before forking out my cash.

Ps1, ps2 and Ps3 have never had this issue. Ps4 has been out 6 months and the issue is common. It's a substandard product right now.
Buying a protector to combat crap quality control is a fanboi excuse. Sony release this substandard product knowing they couldn't correct it in time.
