I can concur - I'm pretty sure it said $699 as well but it is definitely $799 now after cashback. So the best deal at the moment appears to still be videopro at $878 (https://www.videopro.com.au/p-7392-sony-alpha-a6000-mirrorle…) unless anyone can find anything better out there for Aussie stock? Given the difference is not huge, I expect most JBs would match that without blinking.
Me, I have to wait for another couple of weeks anyhow before I get into the 60 day sweet zone (http://www.customs.gov.au/site/page4461.asp) before my next trip o'seas.
I just spoke to Videpro, they don't have the camera in stock. Maybe in 2 or 3 weeks, they don't have an exact date.
Video pro was $830 2 days ago, wow, everywhere is marking it up.
@squaredonut: yep, I noticed that too. Cheeky buggers. Not fair play. They're dipping into customers' cash back. I call that somewhat unethical. I won't be buying from them. I'd rather price match.
Highly recommend this camera. Great stills and superb video in a tiny package. Shell out for some metabones/third party speed boosters/adapters and it can basically do anything.
Only downside is lack of audio inputs for video.

These guys are much more reliable, have purchased many things from them in the past, delivery is fast, but there's no store front. People over at whirlpool said they are backed by Michaels, another camera store n Melbourne.

these guys have genuine AUS stock for $839.00 (before cash back) this is the lowest AUS stock price i could find.
I ended up buying it from Digi direct who price matched so i could pick up from Sydney CBD store.
