Find Me A Cheap TV

I'm looking for a cheap tv at least 32" & under $600 that's suitable for light console gaming / watching movies.
No preference on
- technology (plasma/led/smart/etc) or;
- picture quality (with the exception of major fault whereby it would make your viewing experience uncomfortable ie awkward redness on some of the kogan units) or;
- brand (yes, I don't mind cheap chinese knockoffs with funny names to confuse uneducated consumers ie sanyo (sony), palsonic (panasonic) to name a few.
- Warranty, I need this tv to last 12 months then straight on gumtree or ebay.

    $600 is a pretty big budget for a 32" without any special stuff imo, most branded TVs fall into that price range without any discount. I managed to get a LG Full HD Smart TV for $411, can be bought for just under $600 if JB Hifi has a 15-20% sale.

      Fixed, I meant 32"+ as in 32 or larger.

      How did you get it for $411 whilst everyone else might get it for <$600 if there is a sale?

        I got this one when the ebay had the 20% off a range of retailers. At that time, from memory, TGG had a sale on it already, making it $515 (inc postage), taking a further 20% off made it ~$411 delivered. When I went to JB Hifi to check out the TV, their shelf price was about $598.

    Sanyo is a brand in itself, not a chinese copy of Sony. Sanyo is Japanese (well it used to be) and has been around in Australia as long as Sony and National (Panasonic).
    I am sure they are all made in China now though.

    We have had a Sanyo TV in the bedroom for about 5 years. is on nearly every night and is still fine and was super cheap priced LCD. I am not saying it is the same as a high end Sony or Panasonic but its pretty good for the price.

    Visit the Kogan website. You can get a decent size full hd 100hz tv for that price.

    This one's just over 600, $609. They have smaller ones for less.
