  • Anyone got any feedback on this bike?

I have one of these pieces of junk unfortunately.
1)the tension adjuster broke within a month or so
    2) the digital tracker/timer is way off, its version of a minute is up about 6 seconds less than a real minute and if I go by the calorie count then I should have faded away by now
    3) I also bought a lifespan elyptical trainer at the same time which sounded like a plane taking off when I used it and the drive belt promptly broke two weeks out of warranty.
Life span never got back to me and I will never buy lifespan again even if its super cheap.

Thanks, just saved me some money.

    • Demand that they take it back - if they refuse take them to VCAT (of the equivalent in your state). It's not "fit for purpose" (an implicit guarantee under the ACL) if a key element fails that soon after purchase.

    • was considering too“thanks mate

    • Yet Lifespan have 44,350 positive reviews- 100%. Which illustrates the deficiency of the ebay rating system, which for an item like this should be given after a couple of months.

Ps thanks for the reviews here- my trigger finger was getting itchy.

Nothing for this (I have one: it arrived a week ago and it's going back this week).

Noisy as phuq - an unbearable shrieking noise from the 'resistance' mechanism (a glorified set of brake calipers).

Saddle is almost impossible to tighten adequately; it's unsafe to have the seat tilt back-and-up when you sit back down while exercising.

Handlebar stem is as sloppy as a bad porno, even when tightened to max (I can tighten a bolt until it shears, so it's not a question of inadequate effort).

I wasn't after much: all I really wanted was a half-decent exercise bike. This is not even that.

  • You get what you pay for. The proper ones gyms use ( http://www.spinning.com/en/webshop/product/3808/spinner_edge… ) are about $800.
