Blowing your budget by $1500 isn't what i call stretch

OP, tell me exactly how much content you have at home that would make this worthwhile???

Marketing is very useful on suckers.

OP Also keep in mind that the current generation of 4k TVs only support 4K at 30Hz and not 60Hz due to their reliance on HDMI version 1.4 instead of version 2.0 or Displayport.

Also keep in mind that there are only 1-2 4K Bluray players currently on the market and only a handful of movies for them.

A 4K TV is not worth blowing your budget by any means especially by $1500.

Not true re HDMI 30Hz. This TV in particular does 4k at 50/60Hz and has HDMI 2.0

      Agree re content available though.

      • My bad I should have looked into that better.

  • +1

no true on the 30hz refresh rate

all current gen supports HDMI 2.0 and is capable of 60 frames at the 4k resolution.

  • $1500. will buy you 65" 4K latest Gen TV in 2 years time.

    • Crystal ball you must have!

  • Check DJs web site as well they have some pretty good prices on tv's atm.

  • The Good Guys price match guarantee is no longer valid as they have now cottoned on and reduced their price to beat Dick Smith by $1 ($3,798). So best price is now $3,598 including $200 off.
