  • So as far as i'm aware it's pay for 10 movies, get one 1 free?

  • +1

I think it's 10 points a movie, so this would be paying for 5 instead of the normal 10?

    • Correct.
I rec'd the CineBuzz email also.
Yes, usually it is pay-for-10, see-1-free,, hence this For a limited time promotion.

  • I got the email too. I like it =)

  • What's with their new name? greaterunion.com.au redirects now to event cinemas!

    Good deal though :)

    • Their website just have a new facelift but it's still $ux :)

  • too bad there's no good movies out now.

    • district 9 is good, but i spose it depends how old/young you are. Margret (from the abc film review show) gave it 4.5 stars! (out of 5)

      • These are good movies District 9, Public Enemies, Gi Joe: Rise Of Cobra or Inglourious Basterds

  • Just used it :) Got tickets for inglorious bastards :) 100 points for 2 tickets… Painless.

  • just used this to see public enemies, i was just on 50 points too! sweet!

  • Thanks, got a ticket for District 9.

  • i just booked 2 for ingolrious basterd for Vmax for 100 points and nothing more to pay. thanks

    • Yeah isn't that sweet with no booking fee!

  • Do we know when this expires?

    • Sorry don't have any information about this but it's for a limited time promotion so I guess will end soon.

  • Anyone know if you have a Cinebuzz card and order 2 tickets, do you get 20 points or 10 points? Checking my history, it seems I used to get 20 points for 2 tickets but now I only get 10 points.

Is it worth my wife getting Cinebuzz as well to get 10 points each when we see a movie?

Also, don't you get 50 points for joining Cinebuzz? So you could join under a fake name and get a free movie ticket for this promotion? (Not that I am condoning such behaviour!)

    • Is it worth my wife getting Cinebuzz as well to get 10 points each when we see a movie?
      Absolutely,, that's what we do.
When you book two tickets through CineBuzz, you can enter a second CineBuzz card number so as to share out the points at 10 per card.

        Thanks Tea

    • I got 50 points but my account was carried over from the old system…when my family signed up recently they got no extra points. XD

Points are just weird…that time I included the cinebuzz card numbers for the people I was going with (ordered online), but I ended up getting all the points instead. 50 total (30 then 20). Very strange. But yeah, if it works properly (maybe that's been fixed now..), definitely worth it to have another. =)

      • Thanks for the info turnera61 but just wondering is there a link about this end Sep 16?

  • Thanks again PowerDude.
My wife and I saw Charlie and Boots today for free!
Highly recommended for an Ozzie comedy road-trip movie.
Lots of belly-laughs to be had along the way, as well as lots of I've got a photo taken there too; Remember when we had lunch at that cafe'; We fed the birds at that picnic spot…
Don't leave until the credits have COMPLETELY ended…
…Else you'll miss the best in-joke I can remember seeing!
(I got the tip-off from the ABC TV At The Movies website when looking for a review last night.)
