$1 Normal Coffee, $1.15 Mocha, $1.50 Coffee with Soy milk/syrup, chai @ Krispy Kreme

490

Hi Guys,

$1 coffee from Krispy Kreme to go with their yummy donuts. The deal is for one week only. Enjoy!

It appears to be a national deal as on the ad banner (on their homepage) it doesn't say if it was limited to certain stores. And also as they are advertising on their website, it should be available nationally.

UPDATE
Thanks to K1LL3R12 (associated) for the below info.

All regular sized coffees will be $1.
a. Includes flat white, cappuccino, long black, short black, latté,
and hot chocolate.
i. Customers will need to pay $0.50c for syrup, soy, chai, or
extra shots as per usual.
So it's still actually a $1.50 if you wanted soy, etc.
15c extra for a Mocha, so Mocha is $1.15

  • thx

  • Thanks OP, but when I click the link I can't see anything about any $1 coffee offer? Is this all stores? Are there any terms, restrictions etc. when does it start, when does it finish?

    Edit:
Ahh… and now it is there. Maybe it had to refresh?

Thanks again. I am on my way to Sydney's Central Station from the Airport. Where a coffee was around $5 - so I did not buy one - bloody Hudsons.

This would be a bargain normally except coffee at work is free :)

    • And better!

  • Is the coffee any good? Coles express is $0.80 for small

    • +1

      No

  • I was coming to post this same offer. Coffee is actually quite nice. I've been there a dozen or so times on the way through to work (Drive-through coffee too) and never had a bad one yet! All they do is coffee and doughnuts so can't be that bad ay? Also, there is a guarantee if you don't like it, you can swap it…

  • Krispy Kreme actually pride ourselves on coffee. We have competitions and everyday we have to be tested to extremely strict standards (everything has to be perfect to the way the company wants it).
There are 5 Stores that are not doing the promotion.

    These are:
    - Central Station
    - BP Chinderah
    - BP Caboolture
    - BP Coomera
    - Shell Nudgee

There is also a limit of five $1 Coffees per person, per day. Each Coffee also gets a coffee cards stamped (This means that every 6th Coffee you get this week is free and comes with a donuts. These can be used/saved up if you wish for when the promotion is finished)

I warn you now. With a deal like this it's going to be busy but there should be extra staff at all KK's to push the coffee through (I only work for one so I don't know)

    • How did you find out Central Station (Sydney) is not included?

      • How did you find out Central Station (Sydney) is not included?

        Yeah. How about that?

        I ended up with a $1 coffee and a $1 Banana Bread at 7/11

        • Sorry about that one. This is from the promo form we were sent out.
I cannot share this but I am currently looking if it's written anywhere else.

      • The central station outlet is very small. I don't think they even sell coffees..

    • Thanks K1LL3R12. Understandably you work for one of the stores and so you know but is there an official page on their website which lists this? If yes, could you please post a link of T&C's or the page where it lists that those 5 stores are not included? I couldn't find any specifics on the website.

I'll update the deal description once you post a link.

      • I am actually having trouble finding it through the website as well (I'll take this up with head office asap). This is straight from our promotion form though.

The following stores are excluded from this campaign and will display
their generic ‘Office hero/Share a dozen’ POP during the coffee
        promotion:
        - Central Station
        - BP Chinderah
        - BP Caboolture
        - BP Coomera
        - Shell Nudgee

Unfortunately they are not actually part of the promotion. Places like the BP's normally only sell the donuts anyways (BP have their own wild bean cafes) as is the case with Shell Nudgee and BP Caboolture where I used to live.

  • Regular means small coffee?

  • No soy no syrup just plain jane

      1. All regular sized coffees will be $1.
        a. Includes flat white, cappuccino, long black, short black, latté,
        and hot chocolate.

So it's still actually a $1.50 if you wanted soy, etc.

      • What about mocha??

        • Oh sorry there's another section that says that Mocha is a extra 15c

  • Went to check the locations at their website. Only central station and airport terminals at Sydney? Something must be wrong. I'm not going to the airport just for $1 coffee lol

    • List of NSW stores:
      Auburn
      BP Chinderah
      Liverpool
      Mascot
      Penrith
      Sydney CBD – Central Station
Sydney Domestic Airport – T2 Domestic Terminal
Sydney Domestic Airport – T3 Qantas Terminal
Sydney International Airport – T1 (Departures)

Out of these, BP Chinderah and Central station might not work as suggested above by K1LL3R12.

      • So Sydney CBD – Central Station means KK at Central Station?
Out of these, BP Chinderah and Central station means BP fuel stations?

        • Sydney CBD – Central Station means KK at Central Station - Yes the one at Central station next to Hungry Jacks.

BP Chinderah and Central station means BP fuel stations - BP Chinderah sounds like a BP fuel station that has a KK shop.

      • Cheers. Would have to quite abit way out for me from the CBD without a car.

"Krispy Kreme actually pride ourselves on coffee."

that's good, because their donuts are mediocre at best.

    • +2

I do have to ask for interests sake. How are they donuts mediocre?
The donuts are made well, are cooked in proper oil and then our processors dip them and put the icing on them.
If you compare this to most donut Companies and I can tell you now, this is at least 10x better :) (I've worked at donut King as well).

      • My wife rates Mister Donut (Japan)over Krispy Kreme.

She likes the fact that Mister Donut has savoury doughnuts, so you're not just eating one cloyingly sweet doughnut after another.

        Different strokes and all that.

        • Understandable in that aspect. Unfortunately I don't think that's going to change much.
To be quite honest, I only eat the Strawberry Jam and Hot Original Glazed myself.

      • +1

compare them to something like the queen vic melbourne market donuts.

hot and fresh, cooked by people who care about and understand what they are doing.

you can't replace that with wage earners following a procedure who don't really care about or understand what they are doing and using ingredients primarily chosen to maximise profit margins.

they're no better than any other mass produced donuts. way too sweet and not enough flavour (ie. mudcake donuts don't taste like chocolate, they just taste sweet)

        • While I like Krispy Kreme donuts best out of other major donut retailers in Australia, I think there is no competition or comparison with the donut truck in Queen Victoria Melbourne Markets. Let's just we can't compare a commercial item with a gourmet item :)

        • @Porco Rosso:

Yeah I really have to agree with Porco Rosso on this one. You're comparing 2 completely different parts of it.

Also the 'wage earners' who are there making the donuts, a lot of them have spent at least 5+ years doing the same job. I work in a Factory (By that I mean front end is serving while back end cooks) and the professionalism of the production side of things is quite amazing :)

  • +1

Associated/rep person, is the Adelaide store excluded? (or is it on a 'separate band' to speak for future reference?)

    • +2

Yes unfortunately due to it being a bit too new a store they aren't including South Australian Stores until they can set up down there more. Sorry about that.

      1. $1 Coffee Week is not valid at Krispy Kreme South Australia stores,
Northern Territory or any wholesale locations including 7-Eleven.

      That's from our promo sheet.

  • Got a $1 hot chocolate from the Krispy Kreme near Flinders Street Station :D Thanks OP!
(best hot choc I've had in a long time)
