Noooooo! not another head/earphone sale! Temptation levels rising… must fight it! aaahhhh!!

  • awaits expert post to convince me not to buy another pair of headphones…

  • Not that it reflects on the quality of the product… But it should be noted that these are a discontinued product!

  • My question is what else is up on the clearance block Jason? :)

old, bloated bass (this is from a basshead).

all head-fi reviews I read make me think these are fine for the money, but not worth the spend (for those of us who have too many already).

    • Studio monitors are definitely not for bass heads.

      • Who said they were studio monitors? Klipsch make hifi…

  • rookie question. are these noise cancelling?

    • They are not Active noise cancelling, quality noise cancelling headphones are about $500- $600 a pair.
Being very high quality over-ear headphones they DO block out a lot of outside sound though.

quality noise cancelling headphones are about $500- $600 a pair.

No. Even the Bose QuietComfort gear is less than $500, and you can pick up the UE 6000s for $100ish on the regular.

ANC technology itself isn't that expensive (some audio modelling and a phase-inverting asic), so if you're paying $600 you're getting gouged, plain and simple.

      • Being very high quality over-ear headphones

just a heads up, these are on-ear headphones. i wish they were over-ear though

  • Damit - I passed up a pair of headphones the other day, so couldn't resist a 2nd time round. $59 is a bargain for these (yes I like my bass :))

Thanks ABZ300 for the specials list, bought some other goodies too :)

  • These are awesome headphones. I've owned mine for 2 years and still going strong. Great for travelling and the sound is amazing.

  • Thanks very much just bought a pair. recently broke my athm50s and was getting by with the stock ipod earphones. could not go another month without decent sound for a reasonable price.

  • Is there any warranty for the headphone? Couldn't find information about warranty on the website. Thanks.

  • Nice deal. I just picked up a pair. Was looking for some headphones with more bass.

They have a 2 year Australian warranty.

Ordered last week still no word on shipping?

  • I received my pair today. Headphones sound really nice for the price. Have been using them for the past few hours. Sound is good and bass is great. Will probably sound better with more burn in. Thanks Rio Sound and Vision. :)

I'm sure you've already got some music/noise to do this with… If not, here's an easy an easy fix! JLab Audio.

    • Received mine this morning agree with kpl69 sound great for the price. OzB you've done it again!

  • Thanks Rio, mine arrived last last week.
Nice price for a nice sound, sure beats the alternative… ;)
