  • How to get 5.99? Where to put coupon code?

      • Hi Rep,

There's no discount coupon field for those wanting to check out via PayPal.

It's asking me to confirm $10.85 from the PayPal page, and there's no option to apply a code before it.

Could you have a look into it?

        • Hello there. Going down the "checkout page" and find the Discount Coupon board.
The coupon code has nothing to do with the payment.

        • @Torben:

There's no option for that. From the cart page I can go straight to the PayPal checkout, or I can do your checkout page (with no discount coupon field!!!) then go to PayPal and again no option to put it in before committing to paying the full price. So there's no way for me to apply a coupon before checking out through PayPal.

I've been stung on this before where I've entered my PayPal details for the full price, hit OK thinking there would be a confirmation page where the discount coupon should go, only to have paid full price because there was no option to get the discount when paying PayPal, and it's looking to me like your website will do this to me.

Am I to understand you only offer the discount for payments other than PayPal? Or must I create an account for your site before seeing it? Because 100% there's no way to add the discount coupon from a guest PayPal option (which you provide and it's the payment option I want to use thanks).

          EDIT:
I created an account and now I can see the area to put in the coupon. You should put this in you post that people MUST sign up for your website to be able to put in the coupon code before going to PayPal. Those who go to PayPal without logging in will PAY FULL PRICE!

        • @c0balt: Yeah I am having the same problem, no option for discount coupon before the paypal option and I don't really want to create an account for a quick 6 buck purchase.

        • @Talonparty:

I just created an account for it and it worked. I didn't want to, but yeah I did and now it's working.

Rep needs to alter the listing to say that new customers will have to sign up to the website BEFORE trying to purchase it through PayPal.

        • +1

@c0balt: You have to go through the PAYPAL process. You will notice when you have logged into PAYPAL and are ready to click continue it says that your order will be confirmed back on the Tinydeal website. Click continue and you will be transferred back to the tinydeal website. It will then show you the order and if you scroll down there will be a spot to enter the coupon code. You then have to click on the word coupon code to enable the field to enter the coupon code. Bit of a backward system, but it there with some digging.

EDIT: You don't have to sign up to them.

        • @ccarwyn:

Did you manage to buy a set that way? Through a guest account and applying the coupon code AFTER logging in to paypal with the full price showing in the left column?

The Rep kept saying it was BEFORE the payment page, and I've been stung in the past where after clicking continue on PayPal there wasn't a confirmation page but the funds were just taken out of my account at full price, which was why I didn't want to continue through the guest login.

The confirmation page was showing full price for me when going through a guest account.

After signing up the coupon code can be applied before logging into PayPal, which is how it should be through their guest account also.

        • @c0balt: I did end up getting a set for the discount price. From the invoice email:

          1 x Sports Wireless Bluetooth V3.0 Music Headsets Headphones w/ Mic[Color]:Blue (EEP-312374) = 5.99AU$

          Sub-Total:5.99AU$
          Non-Registered Air Mail:0.00AU$
          Total:5.99AU$

          Payment Method

          PayPal

I agree it should be before choosing payment page. I did not know if it was going to charge me full price when I clicked back out of PAYPAL. Lucky I was not.

        • @ccarwyn:

OK so you didn't buy a set that way, and didn't find out if it's possible to apply the coupon after going through PayPal?

If that's the case you shouldn't have said "you don't have to sign up to them".

        • +3

@c0balt: I did buy it that way. Using PAYPAL guest checkout. Did not see your edit until I had posted and re-reading my post it was a bit confusing. Just to re-iterate,

          • I did not have to sign up.
          • I went through guest checkout with PAYPAL.
          • I entered coupon code after I had confirmed PAYPAL.
          • This lowered the item to discounted price.
        • +1

          @ccarwyn: Cheers, I'll give it a go.

edit: I can confirm this worked for me.

          @ccarwyn:

Thanks mate, that's pretty much 100% clarification to me that guest PayPal accounts can get the discount too. Guess I was scaremongering unjustly. My mistake.

Oh, sprinkle resistant! So handy for watersports.

    • Well it depends what kind of watersports you are into, there are some kinds watersports where this would hold up just fine…

New customers must create an account to take advantage of this deal. The coupon code cannot be applied from a guest PayPal checkout. The rep should put this in his listing that people MUST sign up for the website to be able to put in the coupon code before going to PayPal.

Those who go to PayPal without logging in will PAY FULL PRICE!

    EDIT:
@ccarwyn found out that this may not be the case.

      Hello c0balt

Thanks for your clarification. It's my mistake that I didn't make it clear at the post. Sorry for my broken English~
I have reminded everybody to sign up for the discount. If I didn't make it clear, you could let me know. Thanks!

        Hi Torben,

It was my mistake. Other's have posted that they were able to get the discount after going through a guest PayPal login.

I can't edit my post to change it, so I hope that people see this one and realise that they can get the discount even through a guest login through PayPal.

Thanks for the post, I bought a few and will tell my friends to buy more.

  • was able to checkout via guest…. :)

  • Ordered. Figured for $6 as long as they work ok will be good for on the treadmill. Sick of my iPhone headphone cord dangling everywhere. Don't need some amazing quality ones, just ok ones that work. Hopefully these do.

  • decent deal. can't expect much for sound quality for this price. but who's the chick? she's not even wearing anything.

consider yourself lucky.. she's fully clothed on my end

is it possible to order more than one pair? I got this message when I entered the code while trying to buy two (different colors):

This products EEP-312374 could bought only 1.

    • was about to ask the same question, how to purchase x 2

are there any other good deal at the moment from TD?

  • good deal if it is BT v3 since i only want it for music. i see from the comments on the website that a few people got sent v2, which is only for calls (except for some nokia phones). $6 is a great deal for v3 so trying my luck anyway!
ps payed with my normal paypal account and did not have to create a TD account

      Hello Quasi

It's BT V3. It was our mistake. And we guarantee to replace if you receive the BT 2.0.

  • Will these produce a stereo or mono sound?

  • Thanks OP. Got one. Hope it will motivate me to go to the gym!

Good price compared to ebay generics which are >$6 delivered for similar looking item.

    • The eBay ones are generally BT v2 and even those are around $6 or $7, so yeah good deal!

  • rep i tried to buy one earlier but it wouldnt let me….can u plz help me

    • Hello, Calmerancer

May I know what kind of problem you met? Thanks!

  • Hi, I got mine today and can't get it working with my phone (Xperia Z Ultra) or my wife's Nexus 5. Can't see it when scanning for bluetooth devices. Any ideas?

    • still waiting on mine, so ill see XD

    • Got mine today; it's working fine on my Samsung Galaxy S5.

Did you check to see if you've turned it on? Instructions say that once you hold onto the "play" button for about 5 seconds it should alternate between blue and red lights, the headphones became visible on my phone after that.

      • Yep it's turned on. Managed to get it paired with my surface pro 3 but not any phones

  • Can I use it for swimming ?

  • yeh they don't feel that secure tbh, but you pay for what you get i guess. not bad
