    First rule price on title.

The Windows (and non-Bluetooth) version of this is also available at the same price: http://www.logitech.com/en-au/product/touchpad-t650?crid=115…

same price but shipping is cheaper at only $5.75

    Yes, but is it smooth?

    • I have both and the logitech sits there as I find it NOT as responsive.

It just seems slower to react.

However if you didnt have an Apple trackpad to compare, I doubt if this would be as big an issue

  • im using it now, it seems smooth enough
online reviews say that it's ot as smooth as the apple version, but nearly as good

And it's just like the ocean under the moon
Well, that's the same as the emotion that I get from you
You got the kind of loving that can be so smooth, yeah.
Gimme your heart, make it real
      Or else forget about it

Let's don't forget about it (no oh no oh)

  • Can you use it to do handwriting input under Windows 8?

    • Handwriting input in win vista,7,8 can be done with mouse anyway.

      • +2

LOL. Ever tried handwriting with a mouse?
        Waaay easier with your finger.

  • i have the k811 tempted to get this now too, is that a good price for it? i like how it says free shipping but then next page says have to spend over $51 to qualify

    • lol yeah, quite misleading on logitech's part
i got all excited when i saw "free shipping"
a minimum spend requirement makes the deal less attractive than I originally thought

  • Anyone know if you can use e.g. the T651 on Windows or the T650 on a Mac?

  • Anyone know if this works on a PC as well as a Mac? I like this one over the PC version

    • I've got a T651 installed and working on a PC (with a generic bluetooth dongle)

You need to extract the drivers from the Bootcamp drivers (or just get them from Trackpadmagic.com.

The downside is that you do not get all the extra gestures, just the basic ones. Left click, 2 finger right click, 2 finger scrolling…

You don't get any of the Windows 8 gestures.

    • TK820 would be cheaper through CoTD (if you can trust them)

It's marked as $89.95+ shipping on CoTD, but if you add it to your cart, you can get a 25% off deal. Inclusive of shipping, it came up to $75.55 for me (but I didn't get 1)
