  I'm at work at the moment. Is this one of those things where you have to install it before the deal expires or can you download and install later?

  This is only a 7 day trial if, like me, you want to download it and use in some time in the future. this is pretty useless.

      Once you load the software it tells you it is a time limited program. If you then click the details tab it takes you through to another screen that has a count down clock counting down from the 7 days. I have ass-u-me-d that this means it is only fully operational for 7 days and after that point the stuff that you really want DVD to .avi, fun stuff like that becomes non-operational. I may be wrong, my comment is purely to save others wasting time.

        At home now, and Hard Disk Sentinel doesn't seem to have that restriction. It says "License Valid: Forever".

  Download and install before 25/8 - Special giveaways versions that will work fine, just cannot be re-installed at a later date

  I've always picked up this program free over the years, and have just recently reinstalled Windows and old key no longer worked.
