The PC World review says this can print monochrome without the colour cartridge installed. Also, it prints both sides automatically. Downsides are it's noisy and costly if you print lots of colour photos.

    Black toner: $17.50 190 pages
    Colour: $22.90 165 pages

I've got this printer. It's good, only issue is because I turn my router and printer on at the same time, printer is running before router is and it doesn't connect to the internet, forcing me to turn printer wifi off then on again. A very easy two button process, but annoying nonetheless.

Also, price match this at JB! They will still honour their 25% off ink when you buy a printer. I know because I did the same when I bought mine :-)

Why do you turn your router off ?

The viruses sneak through your router when you're sleeping

Is this better than the HP Officejet 2620 that's going for $47 from Dick Smith?.

    • nope, the 2620 has a fax machine and document feeder

  • Thanks OP. Just purchased one. I was after a printer. Click and collect wasnt available at my local store. Delivery was not bad at $6.95

    • You are lucky. Tried to order one, price has gone up to $78, even more expensive than Officeworks ($66).
      Any help?

      • It was a Saturday only deal.

      • If you're after a HP printer still, DSE have 30% off selected models. Sale runs until tomorrow (Monday)
