Apparently there is clamping issue on these, uncomfortable after ~2 hr use.

Also not as good as pervious deals

    • +1

They loosen up a bit after a while. Or maybe got used to it. Got mine on now.
On the plus side, means you can run, gym, move, whatever in them and they don't come off. Sweet portables

  • Yea I bought a pair on these a while back after seeing them on ozbargain. Definite clamping issue and also noise isolation. I imagine noise cancelling headphones would be worth the extra dollars.
Not bad sound though. Nice and bassy.

  • I picked these up last time, definitely great value at this price.

  • I don't find these bassy, but I do look for bassy cans. Feel free to buy mine which I listed to for a few hours and they went back in the box.

The M-100's are supposed to nicer (but more expensive), the LP's were the bassy ones if I recall.

I'm not aware of there being anything fancy about their driver design, I don't believe its dual drivers, just marketing.

    • how much are you looking for?

      • what he said ^

        • I don't know TBH, $80?
          I'm in Syd.

  • I have a bunch of logitechs, the Philips Cityscapes (the big ones), Bose QC15, UE600. Had HD215s, AT A900s and several others. Also a bunch of Brainwavz at different times. The M-80s are the best sounding of all of them by a significant margin.

  • Are these really that much more uncomfortable from over ear headphones?

Also noticed that these are normally more expensive then the V-MODA Crossfade LP which are over ear. Anybody know why? Is it simply because these are more popular and are better in sound quality?

    • its the pads, they're not overly thick or soft, you can swap them, have a look on headfi for options.

LP's are very different, not tonally as nice for normal listeners (non bassheads)

      • Thanks for the reply and recommedations. Didn't realise you could use different earpads.

I might see if I can test these somewhere first. I guess that's the only it's going to convince me to spend so much on headphones.
