I managed to get Virgin Money to waive the annual fee and supplementary card fee for my Virgin High Flyer Card today. That's $289 + $89 waived for a year. I rang them and told them I was going to cancel the card after 3 years and they asked what they would need to do in order to keep me as a customer, so I told them I didn't want to pay any fees :)

  • Virgin Money are also waiving the annual fee on the Velocity Flyer card, though it only offers 0% for 6 months, not 14. Here's a link:

    Deal breaker for me

  • I got this balance transfer deal about two months ago and have been pretty unhappy with the customer service ad transfer experience. Plus the online banking portal isn't great. I'm happy that I'm saving on interest and not paying any annual fee, but Virgin have been giving me the shits. I'm glad I'm all settled in now and hopefully won't have to deal with them for a while.
