Going price for similar or equivalent item is about $25 per lock on eBay or $20 on Reid.

    I do not like the way the lock sticks out.
    Looks like someone could just slide a steel pipe over the end and snap it off.
    Good locks (e.g. the Vulcan mentioned above) are designed to avoid that.

        The lockmechanism (cylinder and pins) protrudes, rather than being between the U prongs. Makes it vulnerable.

    kryptonite locks rock and i have been using it for 2 years.In the past,I had two other unbranded D locks and they simply got cut by bolt cutter. this implies how many bikes i had lost

    This is great for a second lock, or if you only have a cable lock.

    I rather go to my mocal MCAs and buy a Kryptonite Kepler 11 U Lock for $29 bucks.

    Hi guys,

    Thanks for your support & comments on this one.

    For those of you who placed your order before 10:20am this morning (Friday 29 Aug) your order will be shipped today - tracking numbers in your inbox soon.

    The orders that came in after 10:20am will be sent next week. Sorry - we're a bit busy!

    The shipping price I'd love to reduce, but because these are kinda heavy it's not easy. I've tried to make sure the shipping calculator shows a fair & reasonable price, but if we get offered better rates by a shipping carrier in the future you can be sure we'd be passing on the savings.

    About the quality of this lock, I realise I'm obviously bias but I wanted to let you know that we didn't "cheap out" when ordering these ones in. We could have ordered some D locks for about half the cost of these ones, but they weren't the best and I wouldn't trust them with my bike. When I saw these the quality was clearly much better, so we grabbed them. That said I do appreciate that some of you would prefer to spend a bit more on a lock with a brand name on it and I totally respect that.
