I have all confidence that you'll be able to get it for $50 on launch day from BigW, Target etc.

    • +3

When was the last time you got a wii u game for $50 on launch. I know mario kart was cheap but no wii u game has been $50 on release

      • Yeah I only recall Mario Kart being so cheap, other Mario titles and Wonderful 101 were only available this price overseas.

  • Down to $47.16 now

    • +2

      +$2.50 postage

  • This is a system seller for me.

    • I agree its cool game seen gameplay i think this console is really cool in lots of ways nintendo got some real cool first party games mario kart look fabolous same like pikmin and zelda hd remake many more.

    • Good. Get Wonderful 101 when you get it. It's incredibly similar gameplay with the same over-the-topness you'd expect from Platinum… except with tongue-in-cheek superheroes.

  • Great price for a new release game. How is the shipping time, from this site?

    • From my experience, it's usually around 10 business days give or take before it lands in my mailbox which is pretty much the standard from these kinds of suppliers.

  • Great deal OP! Hanging to get my hands on this game.

  • How does this game save game?
Would you have to repeat whole sections if you die?

  • I dont see it metioned on the product page but would this include bayonetta 1?

    • +1

Yes from my understanding the first shipment comes with bayo1 on a bluray, after that it will only come with a download code

      • Awesome. Thanks for the reply i wasn't too sure but i have now pre ordered it.

      • +1

Could you please show me where you find this information?

I just have a quick look at its Europe release on nintendo uk website. it suggests the special edition will include Bayonetta 1. I will take it as normal edition will not include it.

        and this website

        http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2014/06/two_separate_bayone…

confirms three editions will be available at launch.
I wonder the deal here is referring to the normal edition—> no Bayonetta 1 included.

        • None of the UK places like Gamestop or GAME even have the two versions listed on their websites.

If anyone is looking for a definite place that lists both DungeonCrawl seems to be the cheapest at $64.90: http://www.dungeoncrawl.com.au/p-6107-bayonetta-2-wii-u.aspx

        • @Venom_TAG:
I hope you're right because Dungeon Crawl shows the US box art and they haven't done a quick cut and paste job for the game description. :/

      • +1

Unless confirmed that Bayonetta 1 comes with Bayonetta 2 from WowHD, I'm going to hold off on ordering.

  • +3

The Australian Bayonetta 2 will have 2 seperate discs with both 1 and 2…
but I don't really know that website, I will source it anyway

    http://www.vooks.net/australian-bayonetta-2-bundle-deals-con…

and the game retail image on JBHifi does have a big sticky on top saying Bayonetta 1 included (physical or digital?)

The question is…. does this website sell Australian version?

    • +2

      no Uk verison

    • +1

      Vooks website is reliable.

But buy the disc version. Nintendo's e-shop is whacked. All digital content is attached to the console, not like Xbox Live where it is attached to your Xbox Live ID.

      • Not really a big deal with the shop being tied to the console. For one thing it's very unlikely you will need to replace a Nintendo console, and if you do move to a new system then you can just call Nintendo and they will transfer all your purchases to the new machine.

        • +1

Historically speaking, Nintendo consoles have a lower failure rate compared to Sony & Microsoft (which is a good thing).
To me, it is a big deal of having content tied to a console. I understand Nintendo's stance on piracy, hence (probably why) content is attached to one console.
I'm not a fanboy - pro console this, anti console that, but Nintendo's system is too archaic to me.

Using the Xbox 360 as an example: Buy a new Xbox 360, sign with gamertag, go to account settings, transfer licences and re-download content. No fuss.

        • Don't get me wrong, I'd prefer to have to convenience of it being tied to an account system like PSN or Xbox Live too, I'm just saying it's not a major issue. Sure, it's not as easy as just signing into a new console, but a phone call isn't that hard either.

        • Nintendo have a purchase transfer function now? Because I remember reading a lot of stories about people with $1000+ purchase history being given $500 in store credit to re-buy their content by nintendo.

  • I know in description its not pointing contains two games checked on ozgameshop they are selling uk stock as well its mentioned in there it got two games in one i think all retail copies of the game will include bayonetta 1.

    • Would be nice if they had the limited edition one.

      Really want the scarf :)

I currently have an au copy pre ordered for around $100 just in case I can't find a cheaper one down the road :/ (and then hopefully price match it if it's from another Au store, but it looks unlikely)

  • +4

Correct me if I'm wrong but I wouldn't buy from them if you wanted the game as early as possible.

Usually UK importers such as this send out the games on release day, and then it takes anywhere from 10 days to a month to get to you.

But if you're willing to wait for a cost saving then by all means.

WowHD burned me in the past too when I tried to order One Piece Unlimited World Red for Wii U in the previous 20% off all games deal too.

They took my money. Waited for just under a month and still no game. Emailed them to ask and they said 'sorry we'll look into it for you'. A week later they emailed and said "sorry we were out of stock and will be getting more from our supplier'. Emailed them back to ask when I can expect it and they responded with 'sorry our supplier can't get the game anymore. Would you like to wait while we find another supplier? We have no way of giving an ETA, or would you like a refund instead'. Just took the refund and a week or so later they don't even offer the game for sale anymore so I highly doubt they would have ever been able to get me a copy.

What's worse is while waiting for WowHD, most other stores who had decent prices had sold out of their stock too. There were around 7 stores selling around the $60 mark when I ordered (based on http://www.comparegames.com.au/Wii-U/One-Piece-Unlimited-Wor… ). Now there are only 2 stores left around $80 each.

Not that I think there's any significant risk when pre-ordering a game from these kind of sites but it does give food for thought.

  • +1

Took a risk with this one, hoping it comes with the first game.

Wii Sports Club $43.96 and Hyrule Warriors $49.56 are good purchases.

    • +1

You can cancel the order before its dispatched according to WOWHD, so that should be enough time to find out if it does come with it.

    • +2

i emailed them about whether or not bayonetta 1 comes with it and they said that it did.

      • If you don't mind, can you cut and paste the e-mail here for everyone else to read? Cheers.

      • I'm going to email them.

  • Thinking to get Resident Evil Revelations (Nintendo Wii U) for $21.56

Are the local stores doing it for a similar price by any chance?

  • Great price! Only problem is that I must get it Day 1.

  • Made an account just to come in and thank you.

Just bought both Bayonetta and Smash ($60). I had them paid off for preorder at EBGames, and was planning on price-matching them with JB at release for $80 each, meaning $160. Just bought both, post-included, for $107. You saved me $53 mate.

  • Website now says it includes bayonetta 1.

  • @Venom_TAG

Not entirely convinced just because the website was updated to say it includes Bayonetta 1.

I'd be more convinced if it said "Special Edition" because of Nintendo UK's website:

At launch, European fans will have three retail editions to choose from: the newly announced First Print Edition, the Special Edition which bundles disc versions of Bayonetta 2 and Bayonetta together, or the solus edition which includes just Bayonetta 2. In addition, digital versions of Bayonetta 2 and Bayonetta can be purchased on Nintendo eShop at launch, and those who buy one title can obtain the other one at a discounted price.

    Source link: http://www.nintendo.co.uk/News/2014/September/Bayonetta-2-la…

Australian 2 disc version will be $79.95 RRP.

    Source link: http://www.nintendo.com.au/index.php?action=news&nid=3529&pa…

EDIT: For those that ordered from wowhd, I'd get it in writing that you're not getting the Bayonetta 2 solus edition!

    • That's a good point. I wish I jumped on it now.

  • I've emailed them and they said it's the UK standard version so best for anyone that wanted bayonetta 1 to cancel their preorder.

  • Hi guys, got a reply from them:

"I am writing to you regarding the item - Bayonetta 2 (Nintendo Wii U).

After confirmed with our buyer and I have been advised that the item is standard version includes Bayonetta 1.

Please contact us at your convenience should you have any further queries."

It's the standard version, but he says it includes Bayonetta 1.

That's good enough for me, maybe the buyer is confused and thinks standard version is the special edition? I'm keeping my order.

    • They told me it doesn't include it.

      • Now they told me it does :\

        • +1

          Yeah, now the site reads:

          Bayonetta 1&2 (Nintendo Wii U)

          $65.56
