      The logo on the HDD makes the console limited edition which doesn't really matter as companies will start to sell these separately rumor

          Note it says limited edition. Just proves my point that the white console is a limited edition version of the PS4.

          Sony will start selling the "limited edition" white console on its own later on this year instead of in a bundle.

          But at the moment you can buy this same limited edition white PS4 console through the white destiny bundle.

          2)Did you play the Destiny Beta? ps4 was 1080P Xbox one was 720P to 900P. Now i do understand its just the Beta but usually beta is to test game play and the fact they made the Beta 1080p for ps4 and not xbox probably means that will be the case like many other ps4/xbox one games.

          many people will wonder why the ps4 bundle is more expensive so i'm just stating that the ps4 bundle includes $10 psn card, 30day psn+ , 30 day music unlimited, exclusive destiny content. whereas the xbox version doesn't have any of that.

          There's a different one called instant deals at https://www.jbhifi.com.au/instant-deals/

          That'll give you a voucher in about 5 minutes. Worked fine in store no problems, but it is a one coupon per person deal. And the system checks for white/pink only at checkout.

        I am still in awe at how monumentally inept and greedy Microsoft were when releasing details of the (then upcoming) XB1. I was Xbox->Xbox360->new Xbox all the way. Had never owned Playstation, and had no intention of doing so apart from getting a cheap 2nd hand PS3 to try a few exclusives. I find it fu*king hilarious how badly the XB1 is going, and I hope those greedy pos's learn as harsh a lesson possible.

      EB has a policy regarding their price matching and it is that they do not match preorder pricing. They will only match when the product is released. So no success for example trying to price match DSE preorder price of 58 for Destiny.

      Same goes for JB Hifi

          tried to get eb games melb central to price match a x360 from bigw accross the road and the rep pretended to phone them from the back room taking 5 mins then came back and said they had no stock. walked over and they had 5 in stock.

    Ahhh JB is doing this right. Both AC and Destiny has higher resolution on the ps4 version and for destiny the ps4 version also has additional content. to the price difference is justified. Now I agree BOTH are bargins. Other shops need to follow and no assume both products are the same and sell them at the same price. This is fair.

    Also does the PS4 bundle include 30days psn+ and $10 psn credit?

      Actually, destiny isnt a higher resolution on ps4, both are 1080p. The xbox beta version wasn't 1080p, but bungie stated the release will be.

    Just went in to JB in Woden Canberra, nobody had any idea about this catalogue but the games dude said he would honour it, so I pre-ordered. Apparently new catalogue comes out on Wednesday. They will be getting a tonne of bundles as well (something like 74).

      Oh you're lucky they let you pre-order. My JB informed me that their computer couldn't process the deal because it was too "complicated".. So i just pre-ordered the bundle by itself and they said i can pick up AC4 on the day.

        Dude you gotta read the post, the deal states available 9/9, so the deal won't actually be in their computer system yet. All above deals start Wed but the 2 bundles are released in Aus 9/9 and that's when you can pick them up:)

      I've been scouring Google and forum topics about it and I've only seen one post complaining about the Z1 Compact having the same problem.

      The video on youtube which everybody uses for reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CnDZe9KEWyY has a misleading title, the phone with the crack in the video is actually a Z1, not a Z1 compact. Not sure if that is watch dogs fault or the uploader, any who you can tell because the camera is more to the middle than the right side of the phone. Example:

      I would say there is less of a chance of it happening to the Z1 Compact. Perhaps it has to do with the Z1 and Z2 being larger phones yet slimmer and having more flex. But also there is the fact that there are a LOT less owners of the Z1 Compact. The Z and Z1 were flagship phones and VERY popular, so of course there would be less people complaining, that would need consideration.

      I think the issue is due kind of ironically to one of the main features of the phone; the water resistance. They've sealed the phone up tight so water can't get in, but in doing so air can't escape. So it overheats bending the components/ screen enough to cause cracks in the glass screen. I have heard of the back cracking or peeling off too. I would say if this is a common fault, it would be far more common in Australia with our hot weather. Perhaps even regular use + body heat/ being suffocated in a pocket is doing it, who knows. But still, there are a lot less people crying about it with this certain model.

      Personally I think it's a great looking phone, one of the better ones next to the HTC One M8, though that is of course personal preference. It's good for one handed use, which I prefer over larger phones after trying a Z a while ago, coming from a 4' screen phone. But it also has great guts, it won't be outdated for a while, even the Z2 isn't that much better besides the extra GB of ram and most programs won't use that, nor would most people do so much multi-tasking enough to slow it down with 2GB. It also has a brilliant camera, which is the main reason I want it personally.

      Unfortunately I keep getting errors trying to sign up to the JB instant deals mailing list, it says I had unsubscribed from it and need to contact support to be on it again, even with a new account I made. No idea what is going on there.
