 - Aziz, LIGHT! - CLASSIC!

 - An ozbargainer need not justify the purchase of inexpensive items that will never be used.
 - Surfing in the dark. - I pictured a man surfing a wave at night with one hand holding a laptop

 - I use an earlier version of this (it only has 2x SMD LEDs onboard) and one of these USB extensions as a bedside lamp. My main light is too bright when my partner is trying to sleep and I want to read. As I used an existing materials, this cost next to nothing to put together. - I also keep it with a battery pack charger when I travel, and it makes a useful tent light that doesn't drain my main light's battery. - This is exactly what I do! - These new models are also reversible. Great idea! - Order placed.

 - Night light for kids. Whack it in a charger or better a battery brick.

 - Much better, thank you Aziz.

 - Price doesn't seem to update when adding code in the cart… any suggestions? - Price displayed on links is US$ - the current conversion rate brings the prices to those quoted above.

 - cool…got three…night lights for the kids
 - wow, thanks for all your support. We have received 18 new orders on this in 2 hours. Cheers!!!
 - Isn't the maximum that a USB port can provide 5 watts? - If so, how do does the OP claim 7 watts? - 7W for a different product - mains powered. - I missed that, thanks!

 - Wow,16 channels at 3A total, that's some impressive PWM for a small board.
I'd be tempted to get one for that robot I'm never gonna build,
Would be great for some home LED mood lightig control,
180mA a channel at 5V will get you some reasonable night lighting
 - Planning to combine this (twice the brightness, touch dimmer settings for $2) with a gooseneck USB to make a laptop lamp. Is anyone familiar with shipping from ICStation's? - Shipping is about standard for HK/China (between a fortnight and a month on my last two orders). - As a word of warning, I found the non-dimmer models more useful. The dimmer version I got had an annoying habit of turning on spontaneously, and turning them off is more involved than a simple tap on/tap off. It is also longer, and about the only advantage (which doesn't affect my current usage anyway) is the fact that the USB port is reversible.

 - A bit confused. Overview/Description for USB LED in first link (http://www.icstation.com/product_info.php?products_id=4948) says "USB touch dimmer lamp". However, this feature is not mentioned in "Directions for use". - Thank you for your report! We had updated the overview now. - This one is not touch dimmer version. You can have the touch dimmer version at: http://www.icstation.com/product_info.php?products_id=3856.

 - the 220V light looks pretty unsafe/illegal
 - Cheers for the deal. Was looking at these on eBay but yours seems higher powered = more light. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Mini-LED-Night-Light-Pocket-Card-…
 - What does it look like when plugged in?

I'm struggling to think of a valid use for this?
Can anyone provide one?
