    The pics show screws so am guessing the wording was just lost in translation (ie. built-in batteries = comes with a battery).

      Used to buy the same/similar from DX. 2 batteries each stacked in series. One wire from the LED each side, the one on the bottom making contact and the one on the top just off. Squeeze it and you make a circuit. Also have a little switch at the top that locks the wire down so you don't have to keep squeezing.

      Very bright for their size. But they don't last all that long. Yes they do unscrew, but basically a disposable item.

  I bought some of these years ago from DX. They've served me well. Very bright and lasts a decent amount of time for the price.

  You could change the batteries if you like, but that would probably cost you more than replacing the whole thing.
