There is an additional shipping cost if you buy it online (approx $10 I believe), but I didn't include the shipping price in the title as I rang a Centre Com store and they said they can price match the online $99 price in-store. :) They also said they could assemble the hard drive with the enclosure for no extra cost (in-store).

I was told the hard drive model is WD8088AADS.

    You can get the drive for $88 and an enclosure just as generic as Lemel (not a quality enclosure brand) for $15 from MSY.

    You can also get the HDD for $79 from PLE and get an enclosure elsewhere (e.g. MSY). All good news for WAians.

    This is not a bad price, but it's not exactly exciting.

      Cheapest I've seen for a high capacity external with the enclosure and all was a Maxtor 640Gb at HN for $99, last Christmas.

      I reckon it's a pretty damn good price considering the size.
