What you need to do.

To redeem your offer you just need to:

1.Copy the following code: WATCH2014FINALS

2.Click on the sport of your choice below, AFL or NRL.
3.Login using your Telstra My Account username & password
(or create an Account if you don’t have one). For AFL fans: once logged in, click on 'Free Trial - Access Now' button.
4.Paste the promo code into the voucher code box.
5.Select APPLY CODE and follow the prompts to set up your FREE offer.

Things you need to know

•Offer is available to be redeemed from 4th Sept – 6th Oct 2014. Not redeemable after this date.
•Users get 6 weeks free access from the date they redeem the code. After the 6 week trial, access to the relevant pass will be removed.

    It isn't very clear whether the digital subscription will continue after the 6-week trial is over. Do we need to unsubscribe afterwards to avoid future subscription fees?

      My account states:

      SUBSCRIBED TO: WEEKLY PASS ( 7 days )
      Purchased on: 04 09 2014
      Next renewal on: 15 10 2014
      Status: ACTIVE

      So I assume that I will need to cancel subscription otherwise will be charged for the following week.

      If you unsubscribe straight away, the account remains active until the 15 October 2014.

        Thanks for the advice DogGunn, I subscribed and immediately cancelled - expiry date 17/10/14 - thus avoiding any unexpected charges.

      -> most likely Boost customer will get charged data (i.e. not part of included data allowance).

    it works for anyone, you just create a new Telstra account. You don't need any Telstra services services.
    That way they can't auto-renew, since they can't bill you.

    i.e.
    I create a new Telstra ID on the account page. (It only requires Email, Name, DOB - only the email needs to be valid)
    Clicked on the subsequent email to confirm the email address.
    Then I applied the coupon code to my new NRL subscription.
    I've got free NRL on the Android app until 15th Oct.
    It works over wifi so you don't need to use your phone data.

    do u have to sign up with credit card and cancel it… NO.. cos this one actually doesn't require a payment method unlike other codes during the year

    I hope it will work better this time. Last time I bought access for Origin and only got error messages.
