  • does it have an ide drive or sata inside ??

    • Would it matter since it's limited by the USB bus anyway?

  • WD 320GB $99 @OW with 3 year warranty.
Postage to SA rip off! No deal!!!

    Delivery & Handling: $15.00

    • why it is not rip off shipping when postage $16 to Melb http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/15884, compared with the $15 to SA country? for similar size items*?

      (*postage dimension)

Because for a start they are offering the product $90 cheaper than the next cheapest on staticie:
        http://staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/search.cgi?q=GARMIN+NUVI+255…

So even with the $16 shipping it makes it quite a bargain.

Take your example and you come out $5.10 better off than MSY:
        http://staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/search.cgi?q=iomega+prestige…

Good price? Hmm maybe but for a $5.10 saving I'd rather buy from MSY knowing I can always go back to the store.

        • Your price hardly bargain, only $5 cheaper but with 1 year warranty and WD 3 years so you do the maths!
Regarding postage…as Ndiddy mentioned above the deal included $16 postage is cheaper than others (+ve) but I still think postage for that item is rip off (-ve) => NEUTRAL for me!
FYI, postcode I entered to SA was 5000 and it's not rural or country area…it's Adelaide CBD!!!

    • it's not problem to list shipping fee, if it is flat rate or free shipping.

it might make you too busy to make -ve vote for all the deal without shipping detail in title on ozbargain.

Fair point Danilo but I still stand by the fact that you should atleast list all shipping rates to atleast capital cities.

If you're going to misquote me from the post you might notice that the person was NOT a REP and specifically stated that they DIDN'T know what the shipping was and so I quoted it for them and others by going through the purchase process.

You on the other hand be been told many times about the shipping and yet you always only quote the cheapest. You want more credibility then start posting all your shipping rates to capital cities. I think you'll find that most people will not think you prices are bargains when it costs about the same to pick it up from MSY (esp in SA and WA) by the time they factor in your shipping costs.

        • Agreed

        • thanks for your comments, ndiddy & Powerevolution. I will take your points.

And I hope you can monitor the other rep's post with the same effort as well :)
