    $4 at Coles

    • Agree that coles is cheaper but clearly not the same product.

      • A dense mud cake with choc ganache icing and melted white choc decoration

        Totes same :-P

In all fairness (I'm not associated to this store in any way), I think stuff like this is quite subjective as you might need to consider stuff like quality of ingredients, taste etc. so I don't think its fair to neg just based on price

    • I do agree but what this says to me is that such a cake costs $40.00 normally… wow. :oS
& a 'medium' cake at that.

A bit 'rich' for me! ;o)

so I don't think its fair to neg just based on price

This isn't a cake review site. We are here for large discounts and bargains only.

Are you trying to say it doesn't matter if another cake may be the worst chocolate cake in history but its better because it's cheaper?
I feel like your reasoning is at odds with the preference for big name electronics posted on here in comparison to similar spec 'cheap' brands.

Funny how some people don't care where their cakes come from, but god forbid if they have to choose a kogan or palsonic electronic good. Let's hope they aren't driving in anything other then a cheap second hand car and they wear clothes from goodwill.

  • $30 for a cake is ridiculous

    • Not sure where or if you've purchased cakes like these in the past, but this is pretty much the average price.
Totally different to the so called woolies or coles 'mud cake' for $6.

      • Not comparing with the price at Woolies, but it is still expensive at $40. Should not be more than $25 regular price.

        • Any suggestions as to where I can get a $25 cake off similar size in city/southern Sydney? :( I legit cannot find any at this price point, I always see then at $35+

        • @ippy: wait till 4:30pm
