I'm sure everyone here is sick to death of powerbank deals but I was on the lookout to buy one and found Banggood currently has 37% off the Xiaomi 10400mah charger and with the coupon above (thanks to libran59) you get an additional 3USD/3.29AUD off. From what i've read on Ozb, Banggood seems to sell genuine xiaomi products.

I know its not the cheapest its ever been but it's the cheapest I could find at the moment for an original Xiaomi 10400mah

    • +1

From the last deal people said it it real that is why I try.

Have they gone BANG good yet? lol.

That's a shame, you should support your own country since most stuff is made there.

If u are brave enough, you can let your baby to try the milk formula which is made in china.
There are lots of people from mainland china come to hong kong to buy milk formula, because they know the milk formula in china is dangerous for babys.

        • +1

          wow that spiraled quickly

        • most chinese tourists also buy milk from Australia since that incident. check out the woolies and coles aisle. now they limit the buying only 4 cans per day per person.

        • +1

Wow, Chinese make battery from milk now? That's awesome!

        • Ok ok you make a point :)

        • @brongz: I don't plan on feeding this battery to a baby… Do you?

    • +2

Xiaomi is unlike any other chinese brands that you know. Generally, the quality is on par any other major or expensive brands.
Of course I am referring to genuine items.

Banggood in name, Goodbang in nature……

Who knows what you end up with when you buy one of these generics.

Does anyone know which manufacturers' battery cells they use?

  • Correct me if I am wrong. Seems like its cheaper at Aliexpress for only US$12.60 delivered. http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Original-xiaomi-Power-Bank-10…

      good find! updated above

  • This is one company I will not use in future purchases, bad post sale support, very slow delivery to no delivery in two of my items and when checked, all you get is wait wait and wait… I had to escalate the case to Paypal to get the dispute resolved.

    • wait wait and wait is expected for online order from China like them.

  • I received one and its real stuff. No complaint

    • When did you order ?

      • Ages ago, like 2-3+ months

    • How to tell if it's genuine or fake?

      • The packaging comes with a scratch off and you can check the hidden number on the Xaiomi web site.

  • Anyone recommend a good multi port 5V/2A charger for this?

    • +1

For multiport USB charger, I would recommend Anker brand, especially the 40W 5-port family charger which can output 0.1A to 2A per port simultaneously. Compact too.

      • Thanks. Ordered one from AnkerDirect/Amazon ~$A34

  • Just a reminder to the ozbargainers, genuine xiaomi bans is very limited due to the insufficient production power. Chinese authority had discovered lots of fake Xiaomi charge bank which have insufficient charge value, or high safety risk (in Chinese standard, no mention for aussies). Just be careful about those products from 3 party.

  • $21.32 with 28degree, thanks

  • NVM..all good…

  • anyone received from this lot ?

    • Nope, I ordered the silicone case at the same time and that arrived on Friday but still no sign of the powerbank…

    • Haven't received mine yet…..

    • still waiting

  • Still waiting as well :(

  • How long deos it normally take for the shipment to arrive? I got following shipping notification from them on September 17th but still haven't received it yet.. May be next week?

'Congratulations, your Banggood order #xxxxx has been shipped'

    • Last time I ordered a tablet case on 26Aug and received it last week, so around 3-4 weeks.

I ordered this battery on 4Sept so should be around next week I think but I paid $1.xx extra for registered air mail.

  • Been 20 days so far for me.
