GoG seems to automatically charge you in $AU unless you clear cookies and use a VPN or overseas proxy, but the last time checked they were one of the few companies that doesn't rip us off on currency conversions. The GoG rates seems to be exactly the same as the Xe.com rate.

Realms of the Haunting is quite good too for $2.20 (66% off), providing you can handle old world graphics. most modern Indie games released have abyssmal graphics anyway, so this shouldn't be a problem unless you normally only purchase pretty A List titles.

      Polish for the Witcher.

      The games are based on The Witcher series of fantasy novels by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski and developed by Polish studio CD Projekt RED.

      It still should be called The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings in Australia but I'm assuming it's a cut and paste job that's gone wrong.

      Wing Commander 1+2 is also on sale for $2.59. It's a great old game (imo).

      Thanks for this useful post, I own both 1 and 2 on steam but not sure how to look up the product key so any advice is appreciated.

    1. Go to your Game Library in Steam
    2. Select the game in your library.
    3. Change the View to "Detail View"
    4. Along the Right hand side should be a list of links under the LINKS heading: community hub, forums, related groups, news, store page, DLC, CD KEY, Community Guides, Support, Write a Review.
    5. Select CD KEY.
    6. Select Copy Key to Clipboard. Select OK.
    7. go to http://www.gog.com/witcher/backup
    8. Paste Key. Click Redeem.
    9. Check that your account has now got your free copy of that game by clicking Account.
    10. Repeat if desired for other Witcher game (if you own it).
