  • Might be a reaction to Ebay's sale as I was certainly browsing ebay for games earlier.

    Those bastards.

The game I was looking at went from $24.38 -> $27.99

    That's more than 10%!!

    • They still got a day to go…maybe they might drop the price again on monday…or maybe thats just wishful thinking, guess we can only wait & see what the prices are like on monday

    • +1

not the only one. the pretty order for earth beyond disk copy was 49.99 before. now 54.99 bastards.

    • That's typical ozgameshop unfortunately.
Push up prices on most things at % off sale times.

Plus I never got over the introduction of shipping charges :(

  • +1

This is good, coupon on hut and zavi generally exclude games.

  • saints row iv re-elected is quite cheap, on par with US price tag.

  • +2

Remember sites like this before you order. Only game I wanted was cheaper at JBHiFi.

Using comparegames.com.au these are a few that I found which are the cheapest anywhere (these exclude shipping, a couple are sneakily priced just below $50 to make you add shipping)

    WWE 2K15 (X360/PS3) $53.99
    Tales of Xillia (PS3) $31.49
    Tales of Xillia 2 (PS3) $46.79
    Fantasy Life (3DS) $42.29
    Pokemon Alpha/Omega (3DS) $47.69
    Super Smash Bros (3DS) $49.49

Pokemon and Smash may be cheaper at Big W on release though.

  • Anyone know if this will work with preorders? e.g. Sid Meier Civililzation beyond earth
    http://www.ozgameshop.com/pc-games/sid-meiers-civilization-b…

    • I used a similar code to pre-order MH4U so it might work.

    • The code should work as it is meant to be available for everything

  • Appears to be the cheapest place to buy a PS3 controller at $45.99 to $49.99 depending on colour.

  • Damn, I just spent over $200 there last week :-(

  • Is the code working for anyone else?
I keep getting a "The voucher code is either invalid or has expired" message.

    • +1

The code is meant to work only tommorow 15/09/2014, hence why it isnt working today.

      • ooh, guess I wasn't reading. Thanks for letting me know!

  • Code isn't working from midnight to 5am

  • its working now

Wow ozgameshop way to raise prices…. these guys used to be my main gaming store, not anymore especially with them no longer offering free shipping.

Fire emblem 3ds used to be $49 now it is $52 :(

Shipping is definitely a deal breaker

      • it's out of stock anyway.

Borderlands the pre sequel with Dlc looks good. Any thoughts?

    • Just purchased it myself

      • Sweet I'll grab one as well. Just hoping it doesn't drop lower within the next month or so.

    • Which platform?

      • PC, key activates on steam.

  • The code definately works with preorders.

  • Shipping is still indeed free, you can pay more for a faster method.
But their 7-10day is still free.

    • Shipping wasn't free for me - $1.99 :-(

I did receive a code for $2 off anything in blu-ray & DVD category: THANKSBLU

      • that's weird, where are you located? Getting free 7-10 day shipping as well (Sydney)

    • +1

it's free for orders over $50

      • Yep - and email codes are free shipping too.

  • wonder if i should pre-order those replica Gamecube controllers…. they look nice for ~$30

    • Why not just buy a real gamecube controller for $30?

      • Cause these are USB wired I believe (as they replace the Pro controller) and have Mario/Yoshi/Peach editions! Which don't look too bad.

But where do you get real gamecube controllers for $30 btw?

  • It's not Aus stock unless stated right?

    • Yes, though I think all stock isn't aus stock (not 100% sure).

    • +1

yeh as mentioned above. some is :)

Funny enough I didn't use the code at all with my purchase. I found out my player points were expiring so I redeemed them and used a $10 discount on the pre-sequel instead of the code (they don't allow you to stack codes).
