  • Freebie? What about the $4.99 fixed shipping?

  • How's the capacity though? Probably not genuine…

    • I got one a little while ago, gives my phone roughly 15% from full to empty. Not totally worthless, it could save my life in an emergency but really you get what you pay for.

hiding item cost in the shipping cost is not ok.

over inflating the "was" price is not ok. as if you ever sold these for

      Was: $39.95

  • +2

Note that if you spill the Perfume on your phone, it will probably void the warranty…

  • its just a scum, if you add more than one you will see the postage increased.
if its really free, the postage will be flat for any quantity

    • Sorry but that is BS. Every seller adjust shipping by weight. He clearly says that shipping need to be paid

Show me some sellers which dont charge more when you purchase more.

        • @dosada: a lot of sellers dont charge more if you purchase more, catch of the day (what ever you buy the postage will stop at ~$9), DSE and the good guys.

  • What's the good price for thing like this?

    • Seems like people are buying - I see a lot of 'just bought message' for this thing from Melbourne. Not sure how accurate that is though.

    • +2

Around $7-10 if you buy from Australian ebay. If you order from China/Hongkong, a decent price is $3. This isnt really a free deal, it's just a discount disguised as a free product. Decent price for australia though, so get it if you really need one faster then if you were to order it from Hongkong.

DSE were selling the Sony ones in a variety of colours for $6.99 with FREE shipping the other day!

      • Yep, although lot's of people got it later for $10, well worth it. For me the cheap one from tinydeal charges my N4 up to 40% only ( tried it twice ) and the Sony one although rated at 2800mAh went to +-77%. If you can get a genuine Xiaomi 10400 or 5200 although heavier, they really rock.

  • +2

Only useful for 5 foot iPhones as per picture.

  • $4.99 seems pretty reasonable….?

    • +1

If it works well, it is…

  • Assuming its drop shipped, you ARE profiting from the postage.
Which is fine, but be honest and say $3 + $2 postage
    We'd be happy.
    Lies make us unhappy.

IF its australian stock, then shipping is about correct…. so yeah; Is it dropshipped?

  • I have one of these, it charges my iphone 4 from ~10% to ~70%, which is not too bad.
You can also get this USB light and make a small LED lamp.

    Was: $39.95 Now $0.00 You Save: 10%

    Huh ????

  • I got similar to this the other day. First got $15 Kogan credit with free Movie Ticket (which came later in mail after choosing Village). And purchased their Kogan Power Bank with free shipping. Note, $15 Kogan credit took more than 24 hours to receive via email. I value the movie ticket as $10 therefore the Power Bank cost me $4. Not trying to advertise for them, but just giving option if someone wants silver colour (although a lot more steps involved).

    • opps sorry ignore my comment above i just rem it was an extra $4 in addition (as $19)

      • Still ok, as this would be probably be a better battery, has 4 LED's to check capacity and has extra tip ( 30 pin apple ).

  • +1

Many of these no-name brand 'power banks' use recycled laptop cells that are basically already dead, and/or have crap inefficient circuits.
I've got 4 similar ones, including one from one from Veho (supposedly a name brand) that are completely useless.

The $10 Sony from DSE (linked above) is a better deal, if it fails you can take it back

    • True, but good luck now finding stock near by. These actually were $39.99 and worth I would say around $20, definitely worth $10 ( so far ). Not sure what Dick Smith would do if it failed and you took it in store to swap after they run out of this model. Probably give you a refund or credit?

  • Output: DC 5.3V-1000mAh (MAX)

Would this output have to match the output of your phone charger?

    • depends what phone you have. some phones charge at 2.1mAh i think so would take twice as long

    • +1

if you're worried about overcharging/voltage, micro USB charging won't be harmful. but if the question was about speed, m82 is right. 2.1mAh is mainly for iPad and bigger devices, but would work fine and charge faster for a normal phone too.

      • Only true if you match that up with a better fast charging cable. Most phones won't charge any where near 2.1. Usually between 800 to 1.5mAh if your lucky.

  • +1

Bought these once and it just did not work. Not too keen. Better off buying something more reputed.

  • -1

I have one from Kogan, 10000 maH. The only one that I have, that really works. Reloads my Mi3 (3000mah) and shows 65% left. With a home made cable even recharges my Pipo M9, 10000maH from 10% to 100%. Waiting for the next offer to buy another one.

    • Could you please add link to model. I like good quality batteries.

  • http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Good-Performance-Power-Bank-Mobil… $1.82 here….. From HK, but still, 400% extra for Australian stock.. That's a joke.

    • your ad without battery
