  • Another option… If you have the $15 AMEX credit available, also utilising the 9FLASH coupon will work out slightly cheaper.

    • Is that for DS ebay or normal DS store?

      • Normal DS store.

        • Ah yep, so using 9FLASH brings it down to $122.34 including shipping, minus $15 from AMEX brings it to $107.34 then.

2% cashrewards would also bring the the ebay deal down to $111.28.

In the end, depends on whether or not you have AMEX or not.

BEWARE - the sony xperia E will not allow wifi via netgear modems. plenty on forums about this.
i fixed it by installing a cheap router of another brand. worked fine.

    • wifi didnt work with my linksys or asus modem/router either

  • Would you want to waste $15 amex to save a few bucks?

  • which is the better phone for a newbie?

the sony is a very good phone, but i purchased mine thru a coles deal for $59 6 months ago.
      was telstra locked.

at this price not so good.

      • good to find value for money
unlocked is better for me as i rarely use my phone; i use the PC for all background research, so I will not have to pay more than prepaid access, ad hoc.
        probably 3G will be enough.
        as 2G is dying soon?
