I have a X360 and most of the games are 1080P, I don't get how games on the One can't be 1080P?
The native output of some games (same here is true for xb360) is 720p. The hardware will upscale the output to 1080p.

My 360 died 5 times before I had enough BDSM torture from Microsoft and bought a PS3. Not going back now.

I have 5 Xbox 360 controllers and 1 console: The console died 5 times, red ring 3 times and general fault the fourth and fifth, and only 1 of the wireless controllers work, and it MUST BE PLUGGED IN AT ALL TIMES. I need a knife to open the disc draw as the mechanism is broken through general use.

Microsoft have been a disappointment to me, a past Xbox 360 gamer for 7 years. It's not fanboyism; it's that their products are flawed from a Hardware-life point of view. Wait for a ps4 sale.

@johnno1987: Have you made sure the power cable is plugged in properly? My Xbox 360 has given red ring style lights before, but it turned out it was because the power cable was not plugged all the way into the back of the unit. If you've just moved it and plugged it back in recently, it might be worth checking

@FrankMcFuzz: Each to their own I guess.. I used to mod the original Xbox's and they are solid as! I've still got 3 of them floating around as media centers for family members.
My X360 still works flawlessly, as do all of the controllers - even the one connected to my PC. They will happily associate to whatever device I want to use them on (eg. 4 paired to the PC + Steam full screen experience)

and to the graphics arnt everything comment that might be so but getting a xbox one over ps4 wont magically make every game better so why sacrifice graphics.

I placed and order for 4 packs of Rouge Eneloops on the Sept 11.
I tried to chase it up Friday by phone, once in the morning and once in the evening.
Both times I was assured that the package would be mailed out that day and I'd receive tracking number by email. The second time I was given the option of picking up from a local store. Since I was assured it would be processed that evening I asked them to proceed with shipping.
Now I can't even get through to them despite trying all morning. Pick option 1 for existing orders then 3 for no tracking number yet and the system simply hangs up on you.
I wonder how long I should give it before asking my credit card company to issue a chargeback.

Try, there's a good chance they would price match it. I priced match Target when buying a Wii U so that I could use my JB gift cards. From memory the Target price I matched was well under JB's in store price ($100+ less).
