I cant see any info online that say this.

Is this from an email or brochure you got?

  • Cant find any info on link either

  • If this is true I'm cancelling my wowhd preorders and getting it from target instead.

Surely Smash Bros scored better than a 4!!

Just in case not sarcasm those are the release dates….sure it was sarcasm

        • Lol thanks. It was sarcasm :)

      • "how do you get 27/9 for a game" - it is so good it scored 300% ;)

  • Can you preorder at Target?

    • Yes. Go to the layby counter.

Nice, when does the sale start? (I'm after Kirby)

Added start date. 25 sep to 8 Oct

    • No, Kirby is after you.

The 3ds games are at a decent price but the wii u games are still a bit pricey. I'm waiting for Mario 3d world to hit $50..if it ever does!

    • If games were $50 on download I'd impulse buy games which I'll never play much. Cheap discs don't interest me and digital is priced too high. Another reason Wii U can't grow.

    • I signed up for JB's Music Now service for a free trial and received a 20% off voucher, used it to buy mario 3D world for $55

      • Hmmm tempting!

  • Actually found a cheaper price for Zelda Hyrule warriors at ozgameshop. Delivery is free but it just takes a little longer for it to arrive in the mail than if you select express delivery.

    • not worth saving $4 lol

          Time is money friend.

    • Australian copy always priced higher.

  • Will get Smash 3DS at Target if the JB deal doesn't work.

    • I assume big w will have it for 44 at release, when do they ever not have new release 3ds games for 44?

      • BigW have 3ds games for $49 including smash in next catalogue

        • oops $48 not $49

        • That is surprising.

Can I just say GOOD LUCK WITH STOCK LEVELS LELELEELELELELEL (you know I'm right. Bring on the down votes!)

At least everyone please try to price match elsewhere before target sells out.

    • I feel kmart and big w will probably match the smash price. Usually do

      • +4

        probably smash the smash price.

        Fixed it!

        • hurrr

Smash and Fantasy Life and Super Mario 3D World are here to eat my wallet. I probably won't get 3D World though, also, Pokemon Black and White 2 have been $29 for a few weeks now, is it worth it?
EDIT: Wait, what am I saying? I don't want the 3DS version, I just got caught up by how cheap it is. I'll just be waiting patiently for the Wii U version.

    • Good man :D Although the release date baloney might get me, and I may fold and get them both. Rumour is that Smash Wii-U will have Ice Climbers and other additions, due to Ice Cimbers not co-operating with the 3DS framerate, but personally I think this is baloney because Nintendo and Iwata said "3DS and WiiU will contain the same characters between versions"

But Super Mario 3D World is totally worth it; I didn't think it'd be that great and I had a heap of fun with it. And considering it's a Mario game, we're unlikely to see much of a discount from that.

      • Too many games, too little time. I think I'll still wait for 3D World and I might get Smash on 3DS. Depends on how meaty the solo aspect is, which from what I've heard, isn't that meaty.

  • Dammit no bayonetta 2?

    • Doesnt come out to the 25th

Bayonetta 1 and 2 preorder from Blockbuster —> $66.36 (not including shipping; unsure)

      Hope that helps.

      • Yea i checked blockbusters. I was meant to buy it at $49 but i was waiting for confirmation that it came with 1+2 (posted on their fb page). After they said it did come with 1+2 the price went up to $56 so i was pretty annoyed. So i've been waiting for a cheap local one. Price is now $70 on the site lol.

  • Do we buy Smash on 3DS or Wii U OzBargain?

How many Ozbargainers still play MK8 Online?

I want the Wii U Version. (still hoping for MH4 on Wii U!)

    • 3DS now for $44 and Wii U version when it goes on sale for $20 below rrp. Register both on club Nintendo and get a free soundtrack.

      • Pricematch the 3DS version with JB, then use the 20% off voucher and hey presto…

        $35.20!

        • $70.40 for SSB-3DS and MK7. Tempting…

$47.2 for Wii-U games too after pricematch.

        • Have you actually done this? I'm guessing a lot of salespeople would say the voucher is not in conjunction with any other offer.

        • I want to try this, if they don't let me then I'll price match and use a $20 voucher from Coke Rewards. I'll try both. Or I could use the 20% off voucher for 3D World price matched and the $20 voucher with Smash 3DS? I'll have to do some calculations, but has anyone tried price matching 2 or more items in a single transaction? Or am I going to have to walk out of the store and come back.

      • Good Nintendo games like Smash, MK, etc rarely go on sale unless there's a new console coming out.
