I've been looking for a pair of ASICS Nimbus 15's for a while, turns out Eastbay wouldn't ship them to Australia however for some reason the Black/White/Multi color from Amazon will ship direct to AU.

The price is $82.74US plus $13.57US shipping, I paid via AMEX and the charge on my card was $107.07AU… bargain!

RRP retail for these baby's are $240… even catch of the day has these for $140 + $8.50 postage.

Only US10.5 and US11 will ship to AU.

NOTE: Is a top of the line neutral shoe and suits the needs of runners ranging from the underpronator to the moderate overpronator. If you are a significant overpronator then ASICS Kayano's would be better.

also check wiggle and startfitness, they have good prices. Startfitness take off VAT so dont just go by the price on the product page , add it to your cart.

Yeah Wiggle doesn't seem to have them and StartFitness has limited sizes for about 80 pounds plus postage. Nice site to keep an eye on in the future though.

  • Size matters! You may not get the lowest price if your size is popular.

  • Don't know about other states, but I think Pauls Warehouse got no restrictions for BOGOF for a week. So can get 2 for $240 (if that is retail price for it). just a FYI

  • Price varies for size. I'm 9us 4e and they are $159us.

    • Just checked the 9US is $109.99 the 4E extra wide is out of stock. I bought size US11 and looks like US10 and US12 are also the same price.

  • are they good for flat feet?

    • +2

They are a neutral shoe and suit anyone "from the underpronator (flat feet) to the moderate overpronator." If you were a high overpronator you'd be better going for the ASICS Kayano's. Nimbus are top of the line for foot types described.

    • Honestly, if you're wanting them for running, I'd go and try on a pair at Rebel before ordering. I've just recently moved away from wearing them for various reasons. Also note, Nimbus 16 were released recently hence the price of these quite possibly will continue to go south.

      • Also asics sizes VARY between models.
My wife need 1 size up for Noosa Tri 9 compared to her other Asics gel ( can't remember that model)
We nearly bought the Tris online, lucky Amart had a sale and they were the same price as OS stores. would have got the wrong size if we bought OS.

Yep as an FYI I went to athlete's foot and tried on a US11 (which is my normal size) and it was pretty much perfect. Also Nimbus 15 vs 16 doesn't mean much to me… doubt there will be much difference apart from price.

  • Not sure if this applies to all shoes on Amazon, however, I ordered 3 x Pearl Izumi Road N2's on Friday and AmazonGlobal Shoes Saver showed as a free shipping option saving me $37.43 in shipping. I came across this by chance as I was only planning on ordering 2 pairs but when I was adding different colours etc I found this option. A minimum of three pairs need to be ordered in my experience. In my case, I got 3 pairs for the price of 1 here at Active Feet, who are the only stockists of this shoe in MEL atm.

  • I added a pair of the Black/White/Multi colour and went to the Checkout, signed in as normal using my Amazon account, chose my shipping address (in Melbourne) and it says "Sorry, this item can't be shipped to your selected address."

Am I missing something here, or did the OP just get lucky (cue for a song!)

    • Only certain sizes from 10-12US will ship here… not sure why.

      • Thanks for the tip. It does seem to work for certain sizes, but unfortunately I am US size 10.5 and none of the colours I have tried will work with that particular size. Size 10 or 11 seems to work, but sadly not the size I require. It's a great deal though, so credit to the OP.

  • Yeah I want 10.5 and it won't ship here. 11 will though, how weird. I've 10.5 of the Kayanos, I wonder 11 would be ok.
Need to go to Rebel and try some on.

  • Chromium, I tried to PM you but when I attempted to send the message it said you didn't accept private messages.

For anyone interested in the Nimbus size 10.5(US) it seems that Amazon (through the store 'ShoesontheWeb') now ARE delivering to Australia. I just placed an order for the 'Black/White/Multi' which came to a total of AU$111 including delivery.

The 'Yellow/Pearl White/Red' versions are also available for Australian delivery but they are a little more expensive; US$94.99 compared to US$81.98 for the 'Black/White/Multi'.

    Good luck, and happy running!
