LG Super Multi Portable Slim DVD Re-writer for $69.00

200

First post here. Not sure if this is a bargain as the drive is only 8x speed. But it does look nice for a netbook. (http://www.centrecom.com.au/catalog/product_info.php?product…)

Good price - wish it came in black though =\

  • Yeah saw this in their newsletter… great price, especially for a branded product.

  • There are nicer looking, better performing ones out there but this is pretty good, that price is reasonable. I agree with w8e2x though, black would be nicer.

  • Depends on the laptop, I have a white eeepc and silver macbook white would suit my needs better. But I just picked up a blu-ray combo version of this on eBay for 99. I dont think you get much faster than 8x in a 9mm drive

    • have you tried watching blueray on your eeepc? =)

      • ;) must be mind blowing …

  • lol no but I have a blu-ray burner in my main PC and have started using blu-rays as form of Mass storage now they are around $4 each

  • sonicentropy: Where are you getting your blank blu-rays from if you don't mind me asking?

  • ebay you can pick up a 50 spindle for less than $200 from some international sellers. I am on my 3rd spindle

    • thanks for that

  • Shipping (Auspost Satchel) to Brisbane = $9
    No PayPal payment option available.
