  • just letting people know the Dell Studio 15 Laptop (S510533AU)also has $150 off too. (it's a 2.53Ghz 15" laptop). Price 'starts' at $1800 (-$150).
    Regards Davo.

    • Does the 15% off stack on that?

Man, Dell is so expensive anyway, even with the deals.

      • I agree, Dell Studio laptops are way overpriced

      • i believe so, hence why i posted it.

I don't really get dell atm, 12 months ago i bought the xpsm1530, 15" screen, 2.53ghz, 4gb ram for $2k… to get that sort of thing now will cost you well over $2300.

        • I just tried it, they don't stack. The -15% replaces the -$100 or -$150.

          :(

  • This Coupon offer cannot be combined with any other sale, promotion or coupon.

You might want to take the base model and upgrade the CPU, but not the disk and memory (gee they are so expensive at dell - a 320gb to 500gb disk upgrade is 184.80)

Then you can get the full discount.

I think the Dell pricing is only just starting to catch up with the return to the high AU to US that we lost earlier in the year. If you remember our currency lost 30% of its value and all imports (including Dells) went up significantly as a result. Our currency has recovered 2/3 of the highs we had 12 months ago, so pricing will probably improve a bit once the currency stabilises for a period.

    • yes, they are normally 2-3 months behind - perhaps due to stocking?

  • It looks like the coupon might be stacking today, but I'm not sure.
