surprised and impressed by $2.50 shipping!

  • yeah, I went in to buy it for the advertised $23. But then I saw that it said $18 on it. Turned out that the copy I found was a pre-owned one in mint condition. So pre-owned is a bit cheaper still.

  • Also on Vita for $18 new.

I had it on wii-u (unplayed) and just bought it on vita as it's the kind of thing I'd rather play on a handheld. Played through Rayman Origins on vita and it was awesome.

I bought it for $23 in store and I love this game. It seriously is my favorite now.

  • Do Wii-U games (or any/all games for that matter) sold by EBgames come sealed with shrinkwrapped from factory?

    • My skylanders came in wrap, I remember because I needed a knife to get into it

  • Shrink wrap of factory plastic?

    • Dunno what its called but all games that I get from different retailers are the same as this

      • Yer games should come like that meaning it's never been open since factory

Shrink wrap is the heat shrunk glad wrap and when they are like that means the store has done it themselves? In other words it's been open

        • Yeah i don't think the store did this one, its a very tightly fitted wrapping that's folded in on the corners and as I said same a target games or kmart games

        • @TRENT86:

          Yep that's factory sealed mate

That's how all gamss should be

        • @Twisty: Didn't know that so thanks I will take notice next time I buy a game from anywhere :)

      • So the one ones from EB are sealed?

Cause the copy of MK8 I got from the Wii-U SL+MK8 bundle wasn't.

    • Sorry I meant the clear transparent plastic that is folded at the corners; not shrinkwrap as I previously mentioned.

      • I bought a new copy from EB the other week. They are most definitely factory heat sealed shrink wrap fold. The pre-owned one for $18 obviously isn't though, but weird the one in your bundle wasn't though :/ did you complain? (unless it said it was a pre owned copy)

        • You're referring to the MK8 in my post above? If so, no the game box was not plastic wrapped, but everything looked 99% new & indiscernible. Also the Club Nintendo code worked so no dramas.

It was my first time buying from EB online, besides that I wouldn't know if the games were sealed or not if I were to buy instore.

edit: To add to that, I don't think any Nintendo 1st party games come sealed? From what I've noticed, all 3rd party ones do?

        • @grab_ur_freebies: oh right I thought you were referring to a Rayman that you got from EB in your bundle. But now that you mention it I don't remember my copy of MK8 from Target being plastic wrap sealed (ordered online and store pick up selected, Club code also worked).

          Interesting..

        • @Astro551:

Pity though that 1st party games aren't sealed, guess we have to give them (reseller/retailer) the benefit of the doubt that they haven't been tampered with.

I remember reading in another post about Target leaving the CN codes cards in the cases on the shelves (not locked up with the game in the drawer at the counter). Someone stole all the MK8 codes & put them on eBay at the time.
