Seen refurb Nexus 7 2013's go for this, not much of a deal at this point. As much as I love my origin nexus 7 as a clock on its dock, the storage allocation issue has killed it speed wise.

    • Then post the deals!

I have to agree. If this was the 2013 version then yes this might be ok. But for the 2012 refurbished(can't imagine it wouldn't be) then that's really not a deal as this is pretty standard for the 2013 version.

Dunno about 2013 going for the price, but 2012 should be a little cheaper than this now IMO.

Keep in mind the $AUD is rolling down a hill without the handbrake on, it's doubtful it'll go back over 90c anytime soon, and I mean probably years. This detracts the value from deals like this one through no fault of the OP or the USD pricing.

FWIW: It's coming up as AUD 176.94, maybe a few bucks less with local conversion it probably won't be better than AUD $175 though unless you have a special low conversion credit card (which I am not knowledged on). <— In comparison, this would have been $159 AUD delivered in August when the dollar was stronger :(

(AUD should be mentioned in header)

So it's like the iPhone 6, right?

Ahhh, that one never gets stale… ;)

Some iPhone 6 owner didn't appreciate that joke ;)

And no it wasn't me, I'm a Samsung Phablet kinda guy

    • youre thinking of the nexus 4… lol

  • Just paid $109 for one of these (even tho it was a refurb)

  • This dinosaur was under $180 over a year ago,

Even then it was considered old

    This tablet sucks now.
I use it daily and it's painful, even opening a book in the kindle app can take a really long time, put $149 towards a newer, better tablet.

    • Try reformatting it, thats what I did and its snappy again.

      • I've tried that a couple of times to no avail :(

    • They sometimes seem !like Windows, in that they now seem slower than when purchased.

  • These upgrade to Android 4.4.4 (at least the 3G & 16 GB WiFi ver's do/have for us)
