      Seems more like an event rather than an announcement

        • +6

          A fete is always free, but a free fete with Tom Jones playing is probably deal worthy. I thought ozbargainers would like to know.

          Where else can you see the sex bomb for free in concert??

        • fight, fight!

        • +9

          An announcement of an event that is always free. There are no savings…

          Tom Jones shows are always free?

          Yes, all post AFL grand final entertainment has always been free. Haven't you ever been?

        • +8

          @jv: >Yes, all post AFL grand final entertainment has always been free. Haven't you ever been?

          Do all post AFL Grand Final shows have Tom Jones in them? I think not… read the voting guidelines again, if the deal does not interest you move along

          @jv: It's not unusual

          read the posting guidelines

        • @jv: >read the posting guidelines

          no, read the voting guidelines, if you had a cause to do so, you would of reported it by now, or the mods would of taken action!

        • @jv & @Tal_Shiar: quiet you two

        • -1

          @Tal_Shiar:

          no, read the voting guidelines

          i didn't vote on this deal…

          you would of reported it by now

          how do you know I didn't ?

        • @jv:

          how do you know I didn't ?

          either way, the mods would of disagreed or you weren't right :)

        • -2

          @Tal_Shiar:

          you weren't right

          read the forums…

          always free… therefore no savings… should be treated like freeware.

          even govt offers are now moved to forums…

          mods make mistakes too.

          Like I said, read the voting guidelines again, if you require assistance in pointing out the appropriate criteria I'm willing to assist :)

          I didn't vote.

          My comment is about where this should be posted, not how it should be voted on.

          You also didn't read them…

          If you need assistance in clarifying voting guidelines and the vote itself, this too can be clarified upon request!

        • @Tal_Shiar:

          If you need assistance in clarifying voting guidelines

          No I don't. I don't intend on voting on a post that should be a forum topic…

        • @jv

          No I don't. I don't intend on voting on a post that should be a forum topic…

          You can't distinguish between an actual vote and the guidelines? Do you not fathom they have 2 separate functions?

        • -1

          @Tal_Shiar:

          Voting guidelines are for voting.

          Voting guidelines are for voting.

          Yes they are, and you are not the OP, so the deal posting guidelines are not relevant to you for this post!

          Whether you vote or not is entirely up to you..

    Given that it's ON NOW, I reckon it's fair enough to just post it wherever it will be seen by the most peeps who might jump at the chance to see TJ for free (i.e. old folks, etc.).
    I hope the mods turn a blind eye to this possibly misplaced thread, until the event is over (only a few hours away), for this reason… then it will be an irrelevant point/ can be moved to anywhere/deleted etc.

    GOOD POST OP, THANKS.

    P.S. Disregard jv's incessant nattering. Not just on this occasion; as a general rule.

    • -8

      ha ha…

    • Oh no! It's official… I am now one of those 'old folks', because I went just to see Sir TJ.

      If anyone gets wind of a bargain Old Folks Home, can you list it here, please?

      Thank you
      Why, why, why, Deliliah???? (sob….)

        No more of that inane badgering from someone with more time than sense.

        • Just Vindictive.

        • He got banned from many sites and it seems Ozbargain the last place he can run freely around.

      It's a wonderful feature - I set it to work quite a while ago - instant bliss.
