Damn! at $3.31 delivered per bottle - it is close to the price of water!

    • There are really expensive bottled water, so depending on what water you're comparing it to, it might even be cheaper!

dude - when you have water coming out of a model's uh oh, no wonder its going to be hard to harvest / expensive :P

  • Ha carlo will probably use that line now!

  • It's good prices. I ordered one

  • half island with half the label at less than half the price!!!
Sounds like a bargain to me :)

  • has anyone purchased wine from COTD? what have the wines been like?

    • Utter crap. This brand is used solely for dumping otherwise unsaleable bilge-water. avoid.
See the Cellarmasters offers here for something drinkable.
I believe the sales pitch is an outright lie. Try googling the name.

This wine seems to be unknown, I couldnt find anywhere it is advertised or any reviews. I could only find one cached page (old and no longer available) where some wine market was selling it for $5 per bottle. Not a good deal IMO, I have ordered cheap wine from an online retailer before and it was undrinkable, this looks worse.

  • I watched a program on TV saying Australian wine has become very unfashionable and sales have dropped. This would explain why they can't sell this.

David Darlow is a well know winemaker who produced a TV program about wine presented by one of Britain's best known wine experts.

At a few dollars a bottle it's got to be worth a try.

Of course, some wine snobs will dismiss it without trying it!

Famous last words. If it is any good, why not sell under the original label? Try googling.
"half island" will only be found dumped for $2-$5 a bottle. The seller claims an inflated regular price which is an outright lie. Show me evidence that anything called "half island" was ever exported, to the UK or anywhere.
Yes, I have tasted the brand, sadly. Would prefer a flagon of HomeBrand sherry.
