Does this work for Australian servers?
Do you need to do anything fancy with ip addresses to get it?

    • +2

Yes it works on Australian servers, America, Asia and Australia all play on the Same America's server and no you don't need anything special to play it, just an internet connection

I thought there were dedicated Aus servers now.
        http://www.ausgamers.com/news/read/3423706/blizzard-official…

But in any case, your point still stands that it'll work with any servers (user selected)

We still connect through the Americas server list. It just redirects us to the local ones instead.

        • @m1racle: I had heard we were getting Aussie servers, but could never figure out why they didn't show up on the region select list… Now I know. It'd be great if they advertised this fact in the game/BNET client somewhere.

  • Thanks, @ $22.50 its worth a go I guess.

  • Nice! Been waiting for a price drop and didn't want to have to go to EBGames :)

    • Yeah good deal from a great game

  • Hey guys is this an expansion (requiring the first D3 and/or more) or can the game be played upon purchase?

    • Expansion. So needs original D3

    • Yes you still require diablo 3

    Huzzah! Been waiting for this!

Great game guys. After playing D3 for a few months I stopped playing. But I am back playing this game.
Its improved a lot. They got rid of the auction house and trading gear so you actually spend ya time killing monsters than browsing sale lists or finding buyers..

Just a heads up, RoS is $29 at jb and HotS SC2 is $19. Was instore yesterday anyway.

    • Why would you pay $7 more at jbhifi?

      • Said like a true OzB'er.

      • Maybe they are feeling generous and charitable? Nothing wrong with donating to the JBHifi Funds ;)

  • Thanks

  • just mention since some people like the disc version/save quota, Digital all the way for me tho.

    • True, so they can sell later on :)
