I was going to buy this one on eBay, looks similar. Saved me a few grand!

    • How they have managed to do a price error like that :)?
      Ebay prices

I think this seller lost a bet or something. All his items are $10K. Ironic with a ebay store called cheaptoolsau.

He's thinking, just one sale and I'm out of here!

      • Most likely the owner is away from his business and rather than delist everything he's probably just put a big price to stop people buying them while he is away….if he is I'd assume when he gets back he will put the prices back down, either that or some type of abandon account…or money laundering!

How weird… check out his feedback too… 13,000 peeps, feedback "0%"… Why do they just keep buying his $10,000 drill-bit sets, if they're so unhappy?!? Chuckle…

I can't resist, I'm gonna "ask the seller a question"… something like "Are these genuine Makita?"

I got these recently for $15 at Bunnings. Didn't hold up to the most standard tasks and just wore out trying to drill into some wood. Quite disappointed with them.

    • This!

These are very disappointing quality for Makita.

      • i bought a set similar a couple of years ago and after being a bit of a makita fanboy they were the last makita product ill ever buy. the drills arent even centred in the bits so starting a hole is horrid and the tips are cut poorly so if you try and drill mild steel they wander around like mad even once you begin the hole.

do yourself a favour and avoid this cheap chinese rubbish.

Thanks op. Got this for $15.22 delivered using a $10 Off voucher I got from previous purchase.

  • have a set of these, the standard bits or okay, managed to torque the extension so hard when putting in some tech-screws that it now wont separate from the 5/16 hex bit.
Better off buying individual bits as needed and getting quality.
