Pfft. Matching Ebay everyday price. Or very close to it.

      • Matching AliExpress' everyday price.

  • Thanks will grab a set

Just wondering—what do people usually use these for?

    • +13

      Sounds silly, but cleaning :)

I've been (slowly) restoring a 45-year old car that is caked in grime, and I picked up an engine that had lived in a red dust paddock most of its life. I have used these brushes on almost every surface of the car except for the actual paint and interior.

    • +5

I use them for cleaning car, shower, study stains on clothes, dusting of things, and also cough a pack of circular sandpaper at aldi and use the main attachment with this sandpapers to easily sand stuff using my drill.

      • Do you they damage grout? Or not stiff enough?

        • +2

I use the soft one and it doesn't do any damage

      • +1

I always get distracted when im studying

      • +4

        study stains eh ;)

    • +5

i recently used the big yellow one to clean the shower that had lots of scum build up, worked a treat!

also, decent saving compared to the 3 pack: https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-ultimate-cleaning-brush-se…

      • Did you use it with any cleaners on the shower screen?

    • Works good if you have rough-ish tiles. Scourer with napisan spray, it'll get the tiles bright as new

    • I use em for the rims of our cars.

Haven't yet, but I'm sure it can be used to clean the shower grout area.

Use this for my toilet. My poop doesnt flush easily and becomes cement if you leave it to set.

      • +1

        I chuckled (and gagged)

      • +2

You, sir/madam require a “poop knife” as the Americans call it

        • +4

          Or a tad more fibre

        • +4

You mean poop electric reciprocating saw for the true efficiency savings.

          • +2

@SBOB: I'm using ozitos new poop saw and I have to say, it has plenty of grunt for a non commercial tool.

      • +2

Lol surely you are kidding, you would get poop everywhere doing that and then what do you do with the cleaning drill bit after?

You can use 1 of these to get it off mess free before it hardens https://www.bunnings.com.au/aqua-systems-2l-garden-pressure-…
We used to have one when the kids were toilet training and we would have to empty the odd accident into the toilet which always mudcaked the sides

      • +1

If its yellow, let it mellow. If its brown, flush it down.

    • Not sure if they'll have a brush to rub one out?

  • +8

We use them on our leather couch with a cleaner, foams up and removes the dirt from the creases in the leather.

    • Good to know. Which particular attachment do you use?

  • +6

I haven't had much luck on general applications.

Thought I'd give my pan a nice shine but the spindle is all over the place and bounces off crazy.

Used it in shower and it was alright .

3/5 for me. Couldn't reach the full potential .

  • It's funny the photo shows the brush being used in the bathroom, car wheel, and then… BBQ 🤣

Thanks OP. Got one. Still unsure why i bought it? Buy now think later

    • Same, but plan to use for limescale buildup in shower. hopefully will be useful for non-stick pots and pans
Had previously bought a generic set from Aliexpress that probably came out of the same factory as the Ferrex set that I haven't had since a move.

  • Thanks OP - Bought one (to match the ones I've already got, but a bargain IS a BARGAIN)

  • +2

aliexpress or temu should have better price.

    • I was just digging through my email for a kit I bought from Temu that looks the same as this but had a couple of hand brushes too, can't find it to confirm price though :(

  • -5

Exact same product (with more attachments) on Temu for less.

    • +2

      Link?
      Can't find cheaper

Got this in a similar deal around a year ago, and it’s still sitting unopened.

    • Same.

    • Haha, same here too. Should I get another? I mean, a bargain's a bargain.

  • are these brushes too aggressive for bathroom cleaning? would it strip the silicon or grout????

      Who knows…

    • Pick the right brush for the job

The colour of the bristle corresponds to the stiffness. From memory it was from most stiff to least:

      Black
      Red
      Yellow
      Green
      White

I used red and it didn't strip grout.

      • Always had to google it any time I went to use these brushes.

  • I use mine to go over the barbecue.

  • good price

I don't know why, but for some reason these just can't clean as well as scrubbing it manually. As you're doing it it feels like it's going to really smash anything, but then it just doesn't work that well for some reason! I try going both directions and circle motions, anything I can try. Just can't beat elbow grease, I don't know why.

So now I have a giant bag of these things just taking up space and I never use them.

Edit. Just had a think about this. I wonder if it's because the bristles are kind of just laying down as it spins. If you manually scrub your can force the bristles into the thing, not really the right wording but I mean kind of against the grain or the wrong way. Maybe that's why?

  • bought this couple of years ago still in the box haha

Any way still to get OnePass cheaper?

  • Thanks, OG, nabbed this!

  • Went to my local bunnings for something else and thought I would pick this set up….

Do you think I could find them? nope… it was late and cold and I didnt bother asking an employee where they hid them.

Im going to bunnings on the weekend, but chose free delivery, as the service desk/click and collect is full because of high immigration levels.
      Need one pass though.

    • +1

@AMLagonda Try this before you go.
Look for the item you want to buy on the Bunnings website and then set the website to your Bunnings store.
Then the website for your store will show the item location, Aisle and Bay
eg At Bunnings Burleigh this item is in Aisle 61 Bay 8.

The bay numbers are a bit hard to find as they are only written on a small sticker on the side of the shelving uprights.

  • Should I get another set? Only used once for my set.

  • recently i got the Ryobi 5-Piece Drill Brush Set it is way more pricey, but actually good quality tool and saved my day cleaning my car carpet.

  • Had this set for years now bought at an Ozbargain price.

I do my own car polishing, cleaning and like and regularly sand or wire buff other material.

100% not used but ready to go!

    Great idea but … . .

  • +2

    I have a larger pack.
These things doesn’t work as drills run in orbital motion which tends to sweep the whole tool in one direction while running and you have to fight it.
Attachments like these need RANDOM ORBITAL action tool.
