  Switch to double edge blades or a straight razor, a 100 pack of double edge razors is 25 bucks here

    I've only ever bought the disposables. What kind of handle accepts those blades? Any recommendations?

      This razor is excellent. It allows you to change the angle of the blade to suit your beard and/or shaving style.

        I also have a Merkur, but it's this one. I love it.

        I still have a few cartridge blades around, but they rarely get used.

      If you are new to DE I'd highly recommend the Edwin Jagger DE89…

      Superb quality for the price.

        I have that one. I personally don't like the grip because the streaks go down and can be hard to hold with a wet hand. The one I posted above has a better grip and looks better.

        The LBL has been that price for a long time. If I saw the BL for the price it is now at the time I would have instantly got that instead.

        Both have exactly the same heads so you will get the same shave. But for me I'd go with the one I posted earlier.
