Logged onto Origin after 3 months of inactivity and saw the 75% off NFS: Rivals on PC. Clicked the banner link and offer was $9.99, plenty savings from regular $39.99 price.
Checked the website, but no mention of the offer. Seems like it only works on the Origin banner (you need to install Origin client and probably sign up/in).

No, you should not play it at all. It's a pretty poor excuse for a game. Buggy graphics and physics combined with abysmal AI and infuriating gameplay mechanics.
Here's a summary from a long list of complaints. These complaints are a result of gameplay issues (that are relevant to all platforms) and design flaws not technical bugs (although there are many of those too).
Isn't this locked to 30fps on PCs? There's an unlock to 60fps but it screws with the physics..
Still super smooth though.

This is a great game, both in cop mode and the racer mode.
I enjoyed it too, have not experienced said buggy graphics above. AI seemed fine.

I know right Underground 1 and 2 was the best games of my childhood and to this day still better then any newer games they have made.

Silly Origin, you will never win against Steam.
But it's good that there's multiple platforms out there so steam has to keep improving.
I believe this is offered to selected accounts, not sure if its for all accounts but every now and then they seem to offer a $10 game to ppl,
