Correct jv. Most bags these days are 175g, but this is/looks/feels ginormous. May have to do with the fact that every chip is the size of your fist :)

I've feeling a bit negative today…
They used to be 200g a few years ago, with 2 for $4 deals.
Now we get 175g for $1.59 which is actually superior by about 10% and more so if including inflation.
inverted jv looks even scarier.

No idea how these guys manage to pump out so many deals. Seems like it would take the whole day finding so many deals, the money you get form comps wouldn't be enough to pay day to day bills.
I've noticed since these came out Coles and WW have both been moving the prices up and down, I assume to see at what price people are more likely to buy them. Unfortunately the spicy chicken ones are awesome so I've smashed a few packets more than I should.
Yes, I noticed this as well. I've seen them at sale price around $ 2 and occasionally at $ 3 - both at Coles and Woolies. I would definitely grab a couple bags without any hesitation if it's $ 2/bag, I MIGHT get one if it's $ 3 (Ouchh - I'll have to think twice, maybe thrice) but there's no way I'm getting it at its normal price of $ 4.00 - let alone at $ 4.73!!!

Bacon Double Cheeseburger is the best flavour by far! Little harder to find though for some reason.
the ultimate ribs and hot n spicy chicken are my fav, never tried the cheeseburger ones. dont mind the beer onion rings either.
Bags may be huge but I always go grams/$
Some other smith chips are 170g for $1.59 which is better value.
They're actually 175g.

He should have gone to coles - $1.84 this week I believe - most dangerous snacks I've eaten though. Because they weigh more than a normal chip, the packs are no where near as full. So easy to demolish a whole pack in no time, because they're so damn moreish.
They also reduced the size of the bags to increase the guilt once you hit the bottom
i prefer normal smith chips

Was excited to try these, but when I finally did, I quickly realised they're the most horrible chip I've ever tasted.
The whole time I was eating them, I felt like I was inhaling chemicals.
EDIT: I'll probably attract some negs for my opinion, that's ok. Just don't do what I did and buy half a dozen packets first time, they may not be what you expect…

Same here O15, all flavors of this range tastes overly artificial to me.

Bummer. Went to Sydney Town Hall store, scans at $3 (also the ticketed price).
Pffft. Lets crowdsource a new chip company, with only 2 size packets - 500g and 1kg. Make ads laughing at the tiny other company chips. Retire RICH.
