Great price for a full HD 40" LED TV, believe that these have relatively good reviews also, checking it out in the shop it did seem decent

  • was roughly 283 delivered from DSE Ebay store with the 20% off the other day, not bad for the price though

  • "Progressive Scan No" - probably only does 1080i over HDMI, with no way to disable overscan. Terrible for a media centre PC

    • are you talking about dot mapping there papagoose?

      • If by dot mapping you mean direct pixel mapping, one to one pixel mapping, 'just scan' etc. then yes - at least, on my 42" DSE TV. If you set your computer to 1920x1080 resolution, a significant amount of the edges of the image are trimmed by the TV e.g. almost all of the start bar is off-screen, and there is no way to disable it like on many other TVs

        • I had the same issue when I purchased the 32" version for 199 delivered a few years ago. Caught me by surprise and I ended up just scaling through the gfx settings. I think it was about 80% W x 75% H to make it (mostly) fit fully on the screen. Annoying though.

        • @stiiky: I had a similar issues with a DVI to HDMI adapter, but interesting 1080 appears perfect when using the VGA input.

    • It is not advertised for use with a media centre PC, so I don't think that it is neg worthy

I just got mine delivered today from the eBay sale, so far Channel 9 reception is no good even though it worked fine with previous HDTV, aerial lead is fairly new. It shows signal strength strong but quality poor in the menu.
