Hydralite or Equivalent for Cheap?!

Hey,

So started taking Hydralite a bit lately as they help with hangovers etc. but they are quite dear ($13/14 for a pack of 10). When I was travelling Asia, I used to pick up pouches of similar stuff for $0.25.

Just wondering if anyone is aware of any cheaper rehydration packages/pouches I can order online?

Cheers,
G

  • Powerade Powder is cheap.

Yep I agree. I used this when I drank a little too much at a mates wedding. Came home quite sick, after each trip to the bathroom would drink as much Powerade as I could. The next morning I was hungry as heck but no hangover. Get the Blue Mountain Blast flavor, best tasting in and out.

Wait for a free shipping day and buy a few tubes of these. 20 tablets for a $6 tube and convenient to chuck in your sports bag. I did use Powerade powder but this is far cheaper. Aldi also has a cheap Berrocca substitute which could also help a bit.

    • plus this. these are the best value, same stuff inside. I use these on the bike and also on the piss to prevent hangovers. You can even get these caffinated.

The powerade isn't the same, it's mostly sugar and doesn't have magnesium.

I wait for free shipping, then usually my order is over $99. which is always free shipped.

Fresh lemon juice, oranges and kale is a far cheaper and better alternative.

This is true. Infused water with any citrus fruit you like and and sugar and salt.

  • Check out iHerb as well for the NUUN same effect and comes out cheaper again I beleive

$8.99 at Chemistwarehouse at the moment

  • Most pharmacies will have a generic or pharmacy-own brand for much cheaper than hydralyte, though it may not taste as good. You probably already know this, but drinking water while you're out can also help prevent hangover. Also, take a multi-B before bed as alcohol can deplete thiamine.
