Not the be all and end all but the few reviews here aren't promising: http://www.productreview.com.au/p/breville-jetstream.html

  • ironing a quick and easy job.

Ironing is never quick and easy.

    • Just give it to someone else, like the husband.

I watched Family Feud the other day…..it said I need to buy this for my Wife's workstation.

  • I don't understand what the difference is between irons. Aren't they all basically the same design?
So this one has teflon and some others are just steel, and yet the teflon apparently causes it to drag on the clothes more? So teflon doesn't work well with irons, or is that bs?

    • Teflon is supposed to be non-stick and the iron glides on the clothing surface.

      • Yeah in theory it should be better than anything else since it's the slipperiest substance known to man. The reviews indicate that this iron is worse than most because it's LESS slippery. This doesn't make much sense to me. Especially since even non-teflon coated irons seem to slide easily over clothes. Maybe those people reviewing were just full of it?
