Pick one and put the price in the title:

    EG: CTEK MXS 5.0 12V 5A for $94 (usually $163.95)

thank you for your suggestion, have fixed that up and given a couple examples in the post.

  • My motorcycle battery kept dying, so I bought a CTEK XS 0.8 a year ago and keep it on trickle charge. Haven't had a problem since.

Yes, they are good for that. Lead acid batteries don't last long if they are left to discharge, recharge, discharge… I have a ctek 'comfort indicator' (or whatever it is called) which is a wired-in connector with green, amber and red LED's which tells you how much charge the battery has.

RRP is a distortion of reality. The price is close to many stores, and if a small savings is enough to warrant a bargain, then its $0.50 cheaper here http://www.kulkyne.com/au/CTEK-Battery-Charger-MXS5-0_2.html…

No idea on the other deals in the OP though. Decent charger though.

Not a bad price, but probably not the saving stated unless youre the type of shopper that doesnt look for bargains.

      Don't forget shipping costs

Fine, try this one then http://www.quicksales.com.au/ad/ctek-mxs-5-0-battery-charger…

        $89 free delivery.

The point was mainly the degree of bargain. While cheaper elsewhere, its not by a huge amount, If I was buying online, I could happily buy from the OP too (based on price alone).

        • I'm going to give the OP a +'ve. It's not huge bargain but its pretty well the cheapest out there (quick sales has no feedback).

Can't imagine the margins are huge on these items @ this price :)

    • Thank you for the feedback, I'd admit that not all our CTEK product lines are the cheapest. But there are quite a few other models which are the cheapest by $10-30 on average in respective to other online stores.

For those that buy from local shops I've seen prices tagged much more. But this is ozbargain, I'd like to hear more feedback like this.

Your comment will be taken into consideration to improve our pricing as the new web store takes shape.

Only quote normal selling price, not a bloated RRP.

    • Thank you for the feedback, i will get my webmaster to remove all unnecessary RRP.

  • Does the CTEK MXS 5.0 charge calcium car batteries?

  • Are the Ctek chargers Australian Stock ? With warranty

    • +1

Hi brock, yes these are Australian model supplied with manufacturer warranty which an Australian company deals with certified CTEK technicians if needed.

They are between 2 to 5 years, which are stated.

I should add on my website that that all CTEK are Australian model. Thanks for your feedback.

  • 0.8 is perfect for maintaining a motorcycle battery, will also charge the battery from dead.
Also use it on the car occasionally.

These prices are pretty normal though and not a bargain unless you were planning on buying one anyway.

  • The cheaper Quicksales item has already been posted by Tuba, but for $98 ($9 more than Quicksales) this eBay seller also includes a rubber bumper to protect the charger from scratches, if necessary. The bumper sells for about $18.50 on its own:

I bought one from this seller during the eBay 15% off everything sale. Ordered Sunday morning, the charger arrived early Tuesday afternoon by courier.
