From the Nintendo of Australia and New Zealand Facebook Page, I will update with selected retailers when they are announced.

Pokémon fans!

Mythical Pokémon Diancie will be available via special code distributions at selected retailers in Australia and New Zealand from 10th November to 28th November!

Can’t wait that long? Fans that attend screenings of Pokémon the Movie: Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction at Hoyts Australia and New Zealand can snag a code early on 8th or 9th November!

Figured this would be satisfactory for my first post.

    Certain it will be for X/Y considering it's a Gen VI Pokémon, and every other worldwide event for this Pokémon has been for X/Y.

      It's for the X/Y but the megaevolution can only be done in Ruby/Sapphire.

  So how does this work? Retailers get a long list of codes and they give them to you and you can receive them online? You don't have to buy anything to get it? Is there anything stopping you from going to multiple stores and getting unlimited Diancies?

    Usually with this type of code distribution, you will receive a piece of paper that had a code on it from the retailer, you enter this code in the mystery gift option on your X/Y and you don't have to buy anything to get it. Unfortunately, you would only be able to redeem 1 Diancie per copy of Pokemon X/Y, so if you have multiple copies feel free to go to multiple stores.

  There's a guy at the Albert St EB Games in Brisbane who is always really awesome and helpful, he gave me these codes without me even asking today! He gave me the Gengar ones a few weeks back, EB Games seems to have amazing employees in the city!

  Somehow I completely missed this event. If anyone has a spare code or 2 my kids would really appreciate it. 2 would be best, but 1 should be ok as they can trade it back and forth as far as I am aware.
